How come humans get owned 80% of the time then? Did the Ghoul players magically become all pros?

I am just going to say, "talk to me about it in PM," because I don't want to go one-lining.

I just came out of the new gvh and it seems about the same. The lightning that comes down is something I am looking at like, "Eh." It looks pointless to me, but I am sure someone can tell me what it's used for.

I will say this though. Humans are about the same now.

Increasing the sjas' hitbox isn't an option because it can break maps.

I find it annoying that you get ambushed as a Ghostbuster and get killed before you can even activate your traps. In a nutshell, the delay for activating traps is daunting in certain situations, and it would be better if they we're activated immediately. </twocents>
I have an idea for GhostBuster's traps. Why couldnt he put traps on walls, that would be the only way to get Sjases because they can just fly over the traps like they dont exist. And then the proton pack would be a bit useless against a sjas flying high over them. (Especially with the SR50 sjas) And especially on the maps like GVH05. When you get to the part where theres a PERFECT spot for ghostbuster to set traps and theres a tight corridor so he can use his proton pack. But when I get there, theres ALWAYS a jitterskull only 5 inches from me. Ghostbuster needs a weapon of destruction. Like marine; he has grenades. Hunter; he has ice arrows. Cyborg; he can plasma spam like hell. Ghostbuster; his traps need time to set up, he cant change their place when he sets them up, they take time to finish a ghoul off, etc. Im just saying that since me and other people started playing with GB seriously, (I see players with 20 frags as GB nowdays, including me if I play like hell)I wanna f***ing rage when GB's get raped cuz they set up 5 traps in 8 secs, other words in the time when for example jitterskull digests them. To cut a long story short, GB needs his traps buffed up. (Not as much as the proton pack) So im just trying to be the last one to complain about GB's weakness.  :D

Traps need a bigger height + less delay.
The main ghostbuster beam is just laughable, you can charge straight at the gb taking a lot of hits and still kill him.

Is there really a reason to be discussing the current ghost buster? Because when GVHEWV2 comes out he is going to be really differant

Maybe Ghostbuster from GVHEWv2 has a new weapon?

No he has the same weapon only he can upgrade it after killing a ghoul to do lots of random stuff like spit out blood (Choke) or fire sonic rays (Sjas)

Another argument to support my claim that 2b6 is unbalanced: Check the servers with the new Beta, you will see that 90% of the time the Ghouls are in the lead.

Ah, you ussually just have to put more effort into it in order to win. But wether you win or not depends mainly on who's on your team, then it depends on the map, and depending on how much difference is between the amount of people on both teams.

I always see the same results on the same map. Only times these change is if the team that has the disadvantadge has the skilled players in it. Or for some reason the other team stacks up to unbeatable heights.
Its rather difficult to purely blame the classes these days. There is more strategy to it then meets the eye.

Aside that, it seems, for obvious reasons, Jitterskull doesnt start munching if he kills a Ghostbuster. And the first time i downloaded it i tested it with alot of Jitterskull bots vs lots of Ghostbusters (pretty much the weakest human bot, altrough human bots rape ghouls with their bot aim).
Edit: New lightning ability is said to be considered useless. The effect is also very difficult to spot, some would probaly rather have the teleport back.

I thought the same thing. I mean, it was used on me when chasing after a hunter and it hit. It took a shit load of health for me being there, but the delay for it to come down is just stupid. A lot of maps have open ended fields or opponents can come at you from 360 degrees of direction so there is no real way to funnel ghouls unless you aim to be around at specific spots.

Then comes the timing and all that.

How about we just use Emperor Lightning. Make it a close quarter frontal attack with radius that does the amount of damage as a stun ball on a marine if the ghoul is still there taking the hit.. Nevermind. That'd be broken too.

Lightning induced healing?

Bring back the teleport.

I'm impressed with the jitter nerf, as it's essentially what CarThief asked for (no effect in small games, big nerf in large games) just implemented differently. The lightning strike does seem useless so far, mainly because I've never been hit by it or been able to hit anything with it. :P

EDIT: Question: has the fire bow ROF changed since Beta 3?

Nope not touched it. I might change the lightning again, maybe make it longer? Radius damage when it hits the floor? I dunno.

Oh come on, even more Hunter improvements!? Seriously, he's the only human class capable of an instant kill and pretty much is an all-rounder too, he's even the fastest. He's fine by now! Any professional hunter could destroy half the enemy ghoul team before being killed, unless the ghouls are quite skilled or plain everywhere.

In short, i find him strong enough. Buff up some other classes, ones that might need it, ghouls havent gotten any love in ages. :P

So far the nerf does its job to reasonable limits. Altrough i'm used to killing rapidly instead of hit and run, altrough instead, i'll stick around and avoid their shots, ussually. And i'm not sure, but when i killed 2 humans in one bite, it seems the munching did not occur after killing the second human. One of the two could have been a ghostbuster.

Lets see how long it takes untill some yells SJASRAPE!!!!! :P

If i were cut i would leave the "kill 2 humans to avoid gut chomping" bug because it is kind of like a reward for getting a 2 in 1 chomp
