Alright children, time to improve my idea:

A server was opened to celebrate the anniversary of the making of Mega Man Eight Bit DeathMatch. One last more match was to be held: Orange Juice and a mysterious user no one has seen or heard of. Suddenly, other players on the server begin acting strangely! Eight users then left and started crashing every Skulltag server! Now furious about this, Orange Juice gets to the bottom of this mysterious hacker!

Just a question, is each "Mega" player a skinned Mega Man? ((In other words, each one has the same movements and actions as Mega Man but with a different look and buster effect)).

Mega Player = Robot Master, Mega short for MM8BDM player i guess ;p

I'VE GOT IT!
First of all, I'd probably need to be water-based for the theme of the boss fight I have in mind to work. The way that this would work is...let's see if there's a simpler way to explain this...
((Remember, this is far from my game, so this CAN be changed in any way deemed necessary))
When the match starts, it's a plain, basic arena. The room has no water in it, no spikes at the top, plain and boring. The first thing I do is shoot out one of four different kinds of water: normal, or one with a red, blue, or green tint. "Normal" water is self-explanatory--gives low gravity--but the others need explanation. Staying in the red water without jumping to breathe for too long would hurt you. Green water would heal CF a bit (assuming that will be my RM name) , and blue would reverse the player's controls.
After shooting out the water--whatever it may be--I jump above the player in wide arcs, tossing various weapons down upon them. Hopefully--as my past reputation as the Yashichi guy--they could partially resemble those, but if not, that's okay too. After about five or six of those, the water drains and I land again, and the process loops.
Defeating me (Oh noes, I have to kill myself) would give you the Color Beam: the player shoots a weapon like a Bubble Lead, but resembling the colors I had for my water. Normal flips their gravity* (because why not?) , Red deals massive damage, Green heals them, and Blue stuns them for a short time* .
*In addition to dealing damage. Probably should have mentioned that the first time.

Fortress bosses giving you weapons? May wanna just tone down on TOO many weapons guys. You'll just end up with 4% of them never being used or just out right pointless. Hence why I agree with Sword's comment :?

Ayup. Classics limit of 8 is there for something.
Items, however, are other kind of inventory. On classic megaman games, there is a max of 3, as far as I know.

You see, I only include the original 6 to be classics... Yet on 7 has more items, yes.
Though on MM1 there in only Magnet Beam, MM2, Items 1-3, MM3, Rush Jet-Coil-Marine, MM4 Wire-Baloon.. Etc. Etc.

After lookin' around on some videos (on YouTube), there's plenty of Mega Man engines to use, though I never used one my self I would like to see if we can use it for this potential project.

Is this still being made? If it is, could we get an update? Maybe some more ideas for a second version of this game (so that more members can be robot masters)?
