So guys, what do you all think of Chrome's new logo/icon? I'm guessing they went with the modern "flat" look that most browers have.
Common logos, first they were bevel + embossed, then they was flat, then it was glossy and now back to flat.
I'm guessing that Microsoft's next Windows logo will be flat too :P

Awww, what's wrong with it? Too boring? I just don't like how light it looks. The original one was badass, it felt it had weight to it.



I don't mind that much because I changed the icon with this one:

The logo is bland as a flat style, Chrome feels unique in the fact of an enlarged logo.

I use Firefox but I still haven't updated to version4 and I don't plan to... probably it will hold even more memory in my computer and it is already slow.

Chrome is much, much lighter than Firefox, maybe you could give it a try for a while, see how it goes?

Some computers do actually work better with Firefox than Chrome, such as my single core craptop that I removed the OS for...

Nope. Firefox lets you carry the installer into something like a pendrive and use it in any computer with the internet conenction off.

(and I pay for downloads with mine so...)

Other: I actually use multiple browsers, actually. Opera Mini 4 on my phone, (I'd rather use it rather than the embedded web browser) (using it at the time of posting this infact!) and IE9 on my laptop.

Funny story that happened with my old laptop. I had installed the update to IE9 on the old windows vista laptop I had. Next time I restarted it, I noticed the icon was named "The Internet." I thought it was a virus that did that. Until I opened it of course. Then I realized I had installed that update/upgrade to IE9 p. I still laugh at that.
