Koishi Komeiji - 1/17. I still have a lot of work to do, just made a BASIC standing frame that I might be changing in the future.

I've never played Touhou, but I think I can assume Hong Meiling didn't use a Mega Buster.  Why not make a custom sprite like the others?

I did. The pic is different from the real thing. She actually uses some kind of orb.

Released: Fujiwara No Mokou - Possessed By phoenix

"Possessed By phoenix" is a Spellcard Mokou uses in the extra stage. She disappears and a shitload of bullets go after you until the spellcard times out.

Sorry, but this skin just doesn't work.

1. There's absolutely no way to tell what weapon is being used from the back.
2. The offsets seem rather jittery.
3. The side frame looks like she's glued to a sideways straw hat.
4. I may be wrong, but she doesn't seem to stay in the proper position on the phoenix as she rotates.
5. Huge skins tend to have awkward hitboxes.
6. The phoenix isn't animated at all. It'd look better if it at least had a different pose while moving.
7. The floating "RESSURECT" text box when she gets hit is distracting.

It's an interesting idea, but the end result isn't so hot.

1 - I'll fix that, the phoenix will have megaman pallete.
2 - I'll try fixing that, too.
3 - Since the phoenix pretty much just stood there withouth even flapping it's wings, I decided to make it be flat.
4 - Just your imagination.
5 - Well, it's not a VERY serious skin, so meh.
6 - In touhou 08 extra stage, the phoenix didn't had any animations, too.
7 - Well, can't do anything about that.

Why not just remove the Resurrect box above her head altogether? It really is just in the way, and she could just have a normal pain sprite....
