Ok, then, time to give my *NEW* two cents on this topic.Everybody is saying that Top Spin is not useless. If you want to make a topic that says "Top Spin does not suck", be my guest. But look at the title on this topic:Why does everyone hate MM5?This has NOTHING to do with Top Spin. Go whine about how good it is somewhere else, and we'll argue about it later.I honestly am confused on how some of you guys say "The Robot Masters are forgetable." While I will agree with some of them, there ARE others who have gotten some rather large recognition, such as Nampalm Man, Gyro Man, and Gravity Man. I think the game has some of the best soundtrack (MM4 being a close second) and the weapons were fairly good compared to others. Sure, some weren't that good, but others were very innovative and a @#!*% of a lot of fun. The levels, some being a tad contradictory to others (No underwater segment in Wave Man's stage? Hmph...), were nice. I mean, how many times has Mega Man fought someone on a speeding train, a factory with gravity changers, or in Vietnam? No other times before this game. Heck, a part of Mega Man 9 bought a section of Wave Man's stage back! I think this game deserves recognition as one of the better games in the Mega Man franchise, because, while not being the very best, it definetly is a solid addition of the series.
