Why does everyone hate MM5?

Wily Capsule 7 is amazing. Highly over rated in difficulty too! I mean its hard, but pepole tremble in fear when they see it. That's just plain silly! Anyway, 2 sucks. Awful music, god awful level design, and awful weapons besides quick boomerang and metal blade. Oh and its is easiest in the series by far. Second easiest would probably be mega man 10's easy mode.

Rockman & Forte Mirai kara no Ch?sensha never bothered me. Rockman world 2 however... ugh... that music is soooo bad.

Mega Man 5 is...Meh. Just Meh. It's an Okay game. Granted, there aren't too many good weapons, but what good weapons there are actually stick out and prove they're good. The themes aren't memorable? They're pretty good actually and like the Weapons, the good themes stick out. And the robot masters are too bland? Not really. If you take a good time to think about it, we got some cool robots in Mega Man 5. We got a Train, a Tank, a Helicopter Transformer, a Robot that controls Gravity, a robot that has the power of the stars, and a robot with a harpoon. However, I will say that when you stack it up against the other games, it's kind of bland. That's why so many people hated it. It's like the opposite of the Mortal Kombat movies. The only reason the first movie was praised was because the second one was absolute garbage!

What I want to know is, why does everyone hate Mega Man 8? If it's because of Mega Man's voice, it's called a mute button! Use it!

IMO, Megaman 5 isn't a terrible game. And, Power Stone isn't a useless weapon, either. It does provide some awesome moments, IMO.

Meh, each to his own. But it doesn't present itself and it's effectiveness as "useful". I used it on a second playthrough just spending more time to use it effectively than traversing the stage. Granted I used Star crush, Napalm, and Crystal Eye more than power stone...
