MM8BDM Blog Managers (NOW HIRING again)

Now that we have an official MM8BDM blog, we need stuff to post on it. I will be hiring a handful of people to handle and maintain the blog to keep it up to date with whats going on in the MM8BDM community. This includes mod releases, work in progress, user submitted reviews, videos and events (that are actually happening).

If you wish to apply for this position, post below explaining why you think I should choose you for the job. Before applying please review the following points:

You will have to frequently check the submission forum (coming soon) to check for new submissions before checking their quality and copy/pasting the content onto the blog.
 You will naturally have the benefit of submitting your own articles if you desire to write your own.
 You will have to post articles to a formatting standard shared by all posts (correct heading usage etc).
 Maybe other stuff but I will bug you as and when.

Do not bother applying if:

You don't care about the community's work.
 You only want the position to stand out among the crowd or get attention from myself.
 You suck more than I do at writing!

Having experience with wordpress is a bonus, mention that if you apply. There are no deadlines and I will probably rarely bother you to do stuff unless it's extremely outstanding or there's complaints or whatever. Good luck!

I'd absolutely love to work for the blog.

I have great experience with explaining how things work, or the features of something. I make it a point to always use correct grammar and punctuation (unless I'm joking around with YD again, haha). Incidentally, I have used WordPress before (though that site sort of died out and is now ancient history, mind you), as well as Webs, Blogger, and Weebly.

I have references of my writing if you're interested in that sort of thing.
On the wiki I wrote Mega, Jet Mega, and Power Mega

I'd certainly approve of writing up stuff for the blog. I may have more... personal opinions about some of the stuff going on, but I am certainly capable of deeming a mods popularity or importance, and writing about them in a neutral manner, even though I may not like the mode itself. I am also blessed with the rare habit of actually bothering about proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as writing extensively about the subject at hand. (Case in point, that rant I wrote ages ago, even though the actual subject and conclusion of that may not have been that popular.)

I'd also like to apply.  I've actually got a private blog on my blogspot account.  http://mrxsrr.blogspot.com/  I'm at home so I won't be as active as I was before, but then again, that means I won't be on for hours and hours everyday like I was before.  If I have responsibilities, I'll be on as much as necessary (although I am going on vacation starting this weekend and continuing until about Wednesday of next week).

Oh, and I can filter my more personal opinions out as I've done so for other sites.

Just a thought, wouldnt it be usefull to create a working link to the megaman blog on the Cutstuff website? Mostly considering they probaly see Cutstuff as some sort of base for all official projects and stuff. And i wonder... Where will any updates on other projects go, such as GVH, i assume the Cutstuff blog? (Assuming they ever get updated at all :P)

Dont think i'll qualify nor want to write a blog, unless there's ever gonna be one for GVH if it picks itself up eventually.

Excuse my bump, but I had an idea and there wasn't anywhere else to put it.

Essentially a little "medal" for your topic that's been featured on the blog. This will help those who don't check the blog often, and it gives bragging rights! Plus it's pretty neat.
Also, different styles because they're easy to make. The way I see it, people who've been featured on the blog would be able to pick from any of the four styles(Default and the three in the spoiler), and have it placed in their topic. Obviously, I'd have to remove false medals and things like that. Maybe it could be combined with [url] tags to link to the blog.
