I wiggled and hopped my little ass off, and let bits and pieces lying about. This was my first attempt, and I got a M-Tank. <3

Cheating is totally legitimate.

Because turning on God before it starts, and off to take damage, then on again after for a screenshot, isn't cheating. It's just a way of succeeding.

This single player experience is currently just experiments with ideas involving AI. Progress through the level and defeat Cutman to gain his power! (Not really, lol). There are elements of platforming and weak monster opponents. This is the first challenge where it is impossible to get all the awards on a single playthrough.






TIPS
Enemies in this mode have keen senses. They don't allow themselves to be attacked easily while they are focused on combat. Try to shoot the enemies immediately before and after they try and shoot you or your shots may not be effective. When fighting Cutman this technique is especially valuable, as his mastery of kung-fu has allowed him to maintain a high level of focus in combat. Cutman will also get more aggressive as you punish his life bar! This Cutman is *not* a bot; it is an attempt to make his behavior somewhat analogous to the game in which he appeared.

A new one! This one is short and only has Silver and Bronze awards. I also realize that this is in the Maps section and even though I've been introducing more and more actors/ behavior I'd rather refrain from opening a new topic.

Comments: This is just another collection of ideas that will form a larger whole at some unspecified point in the future. These include, the new enemies with their firing patterns, bolts, and the lives engine. This will not work in multiplayer as-is because I still need to think about multiplayer specific considerations in the code. I would prefer if people not use any of this code for the lives, bolts, or enemy behavior (AI) without direct consent and more importantly negotiations on specific attribution credits in any derivative works.

Tips: If the enemies die and drop the large bolts in the pit you will need to use a combination of Beat and Rush Jet in order to retrieve them!

KNOWN ISSUES

When you win and get the "Success" message, it says "YOU LOSE" in the intermission. That's obviously not true, lol. I haven't figured out what it is that determines if you win or lose for the intermission screen but it's probably a skulltag thing of some sort. I'll figure it out eventually.

If you win and it repeats the stage you wont have the Megabuster. That's because this is a stub and the behavior is intended to be added on the next map in the sequence (which isn't included in this challenge). Optional Gold award is beating the challenge a second time WITHOUT starting with the Megabuster. Optional Platinum is beating this 3 times in a row. These are not officially supported awards but you are amazing if you can do it.
