Managed to try this out, this game is great. Looks as great as Unlimited without being ball-bustingly hard. (Enemies don't do ridiculous contact damage? What the actual shit)

There are some hiccups in the game, such as the charge buster sound fading out, and Mega's sprite art, but overall it's fun. I also enjoyed picking out the little references in the game (the flower guys in Photon Man's stage, for example, fire off projectiles that spread out much like Tackle Fires). The engine is solid, but one note on it- it uses MM1 spike deaths, so prepared to get your ass whupped if you feel like you can bypass any spikes you want while "invincible".

The passwords look like a pain to remember, though...

I much enjoy posting in this topic.
Mega Man:  Revenge of the Fallen by Darkflamewolf

Nothing too special here, just another fangame with returning Robots and changed-up boss patterns.  Appearing to be in the vein of Mega Man Rocks! with its engine, it appears like it might be a fun time, and no one here had heard about it besides, so I thought I'd mention it.

EDIT:  Redid the video and posted the link in its title for good measure.

Something very special.
To me, it looks like the perfect megaman fangame.
It has 10 RMs, 3 random bosses, and a whole load of awesome stuff!

Daaaang that looks like it'll be cool. I'm all for new stuff but there's a bunch of already-cool stuff in the Mega Man games and remixing it into a huge adventure seems like a GUUD idea.

Thanks a bunch CHAOS_FANTAZY for posting those games! List is updated with em now, and some other fixes (like changing Unlimited to Complete and adding Perfect Harmony)

Okay, so there's this pretty bigish fangame called Super Megaman 3 on Gamejolt.
It's worth checking out.

I do not recommend downloading Super Megaman 3... let's just say it isn't exactly quality. Diamond man has a good gimmick, but otherwise stay away. If you don't care about spoilers for mega man fan games, here's a visual list on why to stay away:

Apparently, Super Mega Man has been a series for some time now, and it only recently saw its third release.  Videos of the rest of the games (And I'm sure, download links in the description) can be found this way.

Anyway I'm gonna give it (SMM3) a try, because after MMU I've felt like I'm morally obligated to play every MM fangame no matter how awful.

EDIT:  Done and done.  I've already beaten the game.  My thoughts in brief:

Double post, but not one without warrant.

Mega Pony is now complete in its entirety.  Grab it while it's hot!
You beat me to it. I've been trying to beat and port this game for days!!

I beat it, but I found the difficulty kinda bleh so I turned on infinite lives so I'm a baby in that regard.

It's better than it looks. I found myself enjoying a good lot of the concepts, even if some of them desperately need some fine tuning. I had some legitimate fun fighting Discord, even if I died like a billion times trying to do so. The music sucks with a few exceptions but I feel the same way about SFxMM's soundtrack which had very similar ideas.

I've unlocked the mane six, but I don't really feel like playing the game again so soon. I felt that the game just felt so much better to me when I was playing as Mega Man, but whatever. My knowledge of the series in general is relatively limited, so perhaps if I were more into the series I'd dive back into the game again, but for right now it's just a pretty ok one-off thing.

I just played through Mega Pony, and I have to say, it was pretty good. Maybe it was just that I used to be a fan of the show and got all the references in it, but I greatly enjoyed it. The music was... eh, but I really liked some of the stages. Laughmare's stage especially, those textures are like eye candy.

The bosses were all really entertaining. They all fit with their personalities, and there wasn't one I disliked.

Well, I disliked Twilight, but she's already an overpowered Mary Sue cunt in the show so that's not anything new. She wasn't hard, but just her moves were of a much higher power level (not in damage but in what they were) than the other characters, and since her being portrayed as better than the other main characters was the reason I stopped watching the show, being reminded of it in this game didn't do it any favors. Plus her theme was the worst song in the show, a song actually about how overpowered and perfect she is.

But that's a nitpick, and one bad stage doesn't ruin the game. All the other characters were great, the Discord bosses were all good, especially Wily Stage 3's boss which took me by surprise, and Discord himself, as Llama said, was really fun to fight, although I think a little more variety in his attacks would've made him more in-character with his reality-warping and what not, maybe a little interface screw.

As to playing as the mane six, I found that to be interesting, but I probably wouldn't do a full playthrough as any of them just because they aren't balanced for the levels and thus some levels would either be too easy or too difficult depending on the character.

Overall, a good game, one that one should consider trying even if they never watched the show and one that one should definitely try if they did watch and like the show (or used to, in my case).
