I strongly doubt that restriction will ever be removed. Tradable rarities would result in high level players grinding huge amounts of lower level rarities for resale, and more importantly, means players can circumvent grinding by purchasing materials that don't find their way back to supply depot purchases.

I held on for a while, but I think I burned myself out as well. All the guild is doing lately are Firestorm Citadel runs. Though I did get 5* certification and soloed Firestorm Citadel for Vanguard. After all the hell I went through, though, I missed the recon module I was supposed to get.

And changed my playstyle once again. Guardian is fun, but I perform well with standard-issue weapons: Leviathan Blade, Valiance, and Nitronome. I'm also pursuing three different armor lines: Royal Jelly, Grey Feather, and Dread Skelly. It helps to have that sort of coverage. Since I have that stuff, I take zip damage from attacks that would ordinarily wreck my shit. I can safely play exclusively on elite now.

I also got my hands on a White Battle Chef set and dot eyes. Though it was an unintended side effect, I am now Other Biscotti.

I only played this alot on the SK Birthday event. When I got my permanent cake hat, I was playing the game much less. Eventually just faceplanted.

Though one of my reasons is that I just can't run Spiral Knights anymore, wine crashes.
