I hope the vote count is enough for an early reset. Seems many are eager to rebuild their homes into something new and better, if not annoyed at otherwise having to fix their house.
Would give me something to do during the weekend, heh.

CAN maps be saved through big updates however, i wonder? Small ones proven to be no problem, so how hard could it be to go from 1.8 to 1.9 while keeping the map intact(if in the end it even can be considered a big update).

If people post on the forum to be let in i do hope there is some form of security against griefing via damage reset and possibily some security addons. Its what got us here in the first place.

Whats with all the waiting? How hard could it possibily to reset the world before that and keep it? If you can do it with singleplayer worlds... Eh, why not with server ones.

Personally i dont feel like rebuilding something that is going to be deleted soon. Might even take 1 or 2 damn weeks till the update. Might as well wait it out till the world gets reset or so...

Hm, server almost didnt feel like working. Well anyway i guess i dont mind adding people, though i think the op system is a tad picky and will only work if the person is in-game.
Could patch up the spawn point as well then.

Edit: Still up for it if you want. According to the wiki aside doing it on a in-game person the alternative is to alter the list of ops and then restart the server so all new additions take effect, assuming you save the map and then keep it after resetting, if you have limited time to catch anyone in-game.
