Nope. Betas don't qualify. It has to be a full release.

DTD, is it okay if I get rid of the Transfer heights action? I feel like making a bridge instead of using of that action. Also, it conflicts with the design of the map, which is about 40% finished. Also, here's some name suggestions for the map. I'm sure none of them are good, but I feel like throwing them out there. I'm currently waiting on a disco ball and some custom floor textures.

Yeah, it was an experiment anyway.

Why not use an 8-bit rendition for "Starlight zone" for the music?

Hmmm... Starlight Zone's slow pace and catchy rhythm, or Sound Man's fast pace and repetitively hypnotic beat? It's a tough call for me. Do I go for a disco, or a rave? Since most of AMP's maps uses adrenaline-inducing music, I could go with Sound Man to keep it that way. But Starlight Zone sounds like something I could jam to all day....
*tosses a coin* Heads, it's Starlight Zone. Tails, it's Sound Man. I'm still using the MMRBOSS music.
And the coin lands.....

PROTIP:  One map =/= one theme.  Look at Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Also, if nothing else, please add Sound Man so we can CHANGEMUS if we want.
Aaand there's a Sonic Famitracker music pack already, so I'm pretty sure it's okay.  =P

Screw maps with more than one theme. That's right, I said it.

Gah, if someone made an 8-bit version of Timesplitters 2's Nightclub theme, I'm sure it would fit your map perfectly. No matter, I'll just changemus to the original.

Also, some name ideas for you:

I may go with Saturday night fever as the title, although I also have a strong preference for "music sounds better with you". In either case, the whole map layout has been cpmpleted now and you can expect a new version of the beta on monday. You know what this means, right guys?
(click to show/hide)
The current plan so far;
Sunday: touch up AMP05 and 09. Compile the final version of the beta.
Monday: release the beta and touch up AMP 2, 6, 9, and 11.
Thursday : check with DTD about the maps, discuss AMP08.
Friday: Hand over the maps to DTD for final review.
Someday: AMP map pack is released
???: PROFIT!

Welp, AMP Beta V3 is being compiled now. It's been a pain in the ass to get the rain to activate (lol, I suck at scripts) but I got it to work. However, it may lag some people. That's if you have a crappy pc, of course. Or you don't have a great graphics card, like mine lol. This will be the last version of the beta that will be released, unless there's some serious problems with AMP 05 and 09. I could believe someone if they said 09 was meh, but 05 seems to be a solid piece of work. Oy, this map pack is becoming a big piece of work.

Play this first plox

Ok, now that you're listening to music and getting comfy, let me tell you a little story about AMP and this whole damn process that we've gone through. So I was in this duel server one day minding my own business. The map was Mr.X, if I recall correctly. DTD / TerrorSphere connects to the server and mentions his AMP map pack that's been in development. He says that he's tired of detailing every section of the map and making everything over a long time. He tells me that YD hates his themes, and then the rest of the conversation is kind of blurry in my memory. I ask if I could actually make the rest of the map pack, which he simply agrees to. I originally was going to just leak the maps and then call it a day, but I saw some of the incomplete maps he had and they looked pretty amazing.
Anyways, I get to work on it using Doombuilder 1. I had no idea why the weapons won't show up, but I ignored that little bit and just looked at the sections. The one change I actually made was to the slopes on AMP06, and that was because Blaze had to tell me which action did it. Oh wait, it wasn't blaze. I actually had to look at another map to see how to do it. Anyways, I play a little with AMP06 and then post mediocre screenshots of what I've done. Everything is going good. At least, that's what I kept telling to myself as I tried to add some parts to the map and remove other parts. In the end, I basically get confused at how to work in Doombuilder and abandon the map as it is. This was back in about May.
It's mid-June, and summer vacation kicked in. I'm bored out of my frickin' mind, when Cutmanmike's little map competition is started. I think "Hey, why not" and actually get Doombuilder 2 to work on the maps. I basically gather every mapping tutorial I could gather from Cutstuff and begin studying each one so that I actually know what I'm doing when I begin mapping. I could remember working for an hour straight on the bridges and also on the texture choices. This would soon become my first map ever made, also known as Cloud Brother. I talk to SSW about how I make certain parts of my map work, as well as question what the other maps look like. He sends me his map, and I'm completely dumbstruck by what I'm seeing. I remember feeling my heart sink a little at how amazing his map is compared to mine. Eventually, we talk about how he makes maps and he shows me a little link that leads to a webpage covering the basic principles of Architecture. To this day, I still have the page bookmarked. This was the first of two huge conversations I would have with the mapping master, with the second one leading to a conversation about being alpha, Nu, Sonia, and some other people I couldn't quite remember.
At this point, I'm looking for more ideas for maps after my first taste with Cloud Brother. Enter SmashBroPlus, who has these blueprints that people have completely forgotten about. I begin work on the first map, while Myroc also catches whiff of the blueprints and  begins work on his own version. I'm going to admit: The Lava Lake you see and love today wouldn't be that way if it weren't for Myroc. I talked with Myroc after he said it was alright if we collaborated and compared layouts. I show him my huge map, and he shows me his nearly-finished map. My map has a bunch of missing textures and looks like crap. He has textures from specific stages and nothing more. He tells me that my map is too big, so I basically redo the map from scratch. It looks similiar to Myroc's, and some could suspect that I simply went and modified his map to my liking. This is not true at all. I spent days looking at textures and began finding which textures could go with which section. My map turns out to be a little of everthing, with textures from nearly every stage imaginable. That's when I remember something.
Amp-map-pack. The abandoned little piece of potential that was left out in the cold and left in my amateur hands. Feeling confident, I say that I've gained enough experience to begin really working on AMP. That's when I make the AMP10 post, and where we start our current journey.
Oh good, the map pack finished uploading a while ago. Anyways, this is the AMP-Map-Pack Beta. Version 3.

-AMP 05 and 09 added.
-Airman texture in AMP03 is changed.
-AMP01's teleportation spots have been lifted up a bit.
-20% More Fun!
Download now! Again!

Read the whole wall of text.

Screenshots look great. Needs more of these actually. Show me some action shots. I know the levels are going to look good, but show me the perspectives from your ideal point of view; frame the shot.

Will download and host

WHY THE HELL DID THE MEGAMAN & BASS EXPANSION GET LOCKED.
Now that I'm done screaming, I bring some progress pictures of what you'll be seeing in the next stages of AMP.
(click to show/hide)
Currently, the stage's design is complete and I am currently going through the process of fixing up the item locations. This process is a lot more difficult than I thought, so disregard my previous schedule. Also, I have to make a website for my mum.

Finally, for my last part of the post, I will show a visual metaphor of the AMP-Map-Pack team.

The lock on the Mega Man and Bass topic is a joke made by Korby.

Progress never actually stopped.
