My maps

Topic has been edited!
Its rather small so i'm just gonna use it for all maps i'll make, i guess. Saves some space on the forums i suppose.
If looking for new posts check the first one mentioning the GVHGB map, the one with the theme involving ghostbusters.
---------------
After like 2 weeks of building on it and having posted screenshots out of boredom at times, i've finnally finished the map i'd like to call Lava & Metal.
The gameplay is pretty simple, although there's alot of paths to take to get around in the map, although mostly vents, just about everywhere, even a pair that shoots you outside.
The main area is well suited to combat with little to no obstacles, the hallways may prove more lethal to run backwards into, and i think the map should be pretty fair, although it never was tested with an large match.
I guess people'd like screenshots too. These are a little old and taken from another topic, but should do well enough, kinda lazy after all the trouble of making the map.
They're not very up to date, though. Some things may have been removed.

Hmm... I'd figure i'd post this here since its a finished project by now. Expect some quality after it has been trimmed, bugfixed, nerfed, altered, added to, and all that stuff. :P
It also makes makes quite some use of ACS.
There's a readme in the .wad file for more info, if anyone ever reads those. :P

(Edit: Not the latest file anymore. Search throughout the topic, i guess. They're numbered.)
And special thanks to Mobius for pretty much almost all the testing, and whatnot of help during the development. Map turned out great this way. :P
Edit: If it fits better in the projects forum anyway, uhh, probaly better if it got moved then.

Pretty interesting layout, I like it. Hopefully more maps show up so we can have some kind of unofficial pack goin' on. Two suggestions though, first make it clearer that one of the doors doesn't work. Put some bars over it or wreck the door or something. I was being chased by a Jitterbot and tried to evacuate into that dead end door. Also I think those teleports are... strange. At least make them a bit more obvious if you're going to have those areas teleport you (make them really dark or something?)

Ah, making the teleporting vents dark (or quickly from viewable to dark, as if there's barely light) might do, while i was making it i never really had an idea how to make it look any different. Hmm... I guess the door may not be too obvious, maybe if i'll ever have reason to release a fix (If people quickly are making a map pack? Hehe...), it would be the perfect excuse.
Hmm... Hopefully people get a map pack going on soon indeed, like 10 maps or so. Seems like 2 weeks of development paid off on this map. :P

Unofficial map? I'm sorry, but this is a better replacement than gvh18 (Solanid). It's practically the same type of map (height differences, cramped, but this is larger and more complex).
Now if only there was a little less detail or some way to reduce my fps lag. I couldn't even run it on my netbook in software mode (but this could be me).

Since this topic is rather small, i might as well post the newest map i made here. Not as good as the previous one but meh, guess it'll do.
Well, out of boredom made a new map. This one's Ghostbuster themed, kind of. It takes place at a place i called Ghostbuster HQ. Layout may be a bit the same as my previous map, its smaller now though, and supports some more interesting things for creepers to play around with. Such as many creeper holes, and the map's ventilation shafts can be made unsafe with the press of a button, spreading poison gas that should scare off people hiding in the vents.
Hmm... Unfortunately a tad lazy to make screenshots right now, but i'll upload the map.
I've also updated GVHLM.wad(the previous map), with some changes.
But both maps do have the problem of the steam being uncontrollable in TLMS, it just keeps making noise.
GVHGB file link:

GVHLM(The lava & metal map link):

Oh, and GVHLM also recieved a few suggested changes. Door looks damaged and hopefully more unaccesible. Teleporting vents are now dark and the darkest sections sometimes, uhh, glow. The teleporter kind of glowing.

Well glad someone likes it.
Also made some fixes to both maps. Steam now works like it is supposed to in TLMS in both maps and apparently i missed some spots in GVHGB, should be fine now, mostly.
Newest GVHLM file:

And the one for GVHGB:

Still cant be bothered to make screenshots though, unless people really want some.

A mappack wouldnt be a really bad idea, but i'm quite slow at mapping. Making Lava & Metal took me two weeks! But it did pay off.
Ah well, i do have like 3 maps uploaded by now, though. I'd make more, but i dont feel like making anything right now. Having all the good mappers in this forum make a GVH mappack should be a good idea, perhaps. :P
I dont know of any rivalry though. :P
