Gauntlet?
Oh dear, both Legacy and the N64 Gauntlet Legends make great multiplayer games. I remember them as rather obscure, not much to be getting a large amount of hate. Dark Legacy was really hurt most by the absurdness of its bugs. Invisible items? How!?! [was it overlooked] But I have fond memories taking down bosses with the various equips.

As for the Mega Man franchises - I'll admit, I'm an advocate for BN4 and X6, and MM6 (which isn't hated so much as the first two.) I like to put games ending with "5" in the "utter failure" category of the franchises, given that I hate BN5, X5, and MM5. (I've been trying to find a copy of BN5 to give a second chance. Not having much luck. I would also try X7 if I bought Sony elephants consoles.

Wait, since when was DK64 "super hated"?  I love that game! Nintendo, Virtual Console/3D Remake, gogogo AND TAKE OUT THAT INCREDIBLY ANNOYING TURTLE I HAD TO RACE A BILLION TIMES TO FINALLY WIN HNNNNNNNNNG

Games can be just as good as people want them to be nowadays (there are a couple), but since the market demands crappy, rushed FPS games, that's what the world is giving us. Because of this, great modern games go largely unignored by the media, making the average gamer think that all modern games are COD knockoffs/clones.

Well. Nobody hated Crash team racing but my brother just got bored with it and stoped playing and my sister was too young to play it.
So I ended up the only one playing it.
