Found this game last night, and i am really enjoying single player so far. But this game looks like it would be tons more fun with people, so i was coming on here hoping to find someone to play with.

I'm not familiar with Doom 2 like at all so i am also not good finding servers and all that shiz.

Well yeah, i'm looking for someone to play with and it'd be great if we could voice chat over vent/skype or something.

No I know, its just i cant seem to find any active servers :l

And also whenever i try to join some servers it says im missing files.

Most servers need either map wads or wads for the game mode.

I suggest using Doomseeker. As it has a Wadfinder built into it (I think)

I actually did do the doomseeker tutorial i found on the forums and the server im trying to join still isnt letting me.

Maybe the wads in question aren't in wad seeker. You might need to look around the site.

Or you might have an outdated version of MM8BDM. But I don't really know.

The wads are most likely on wadhost, which is one of the default sites in which wadseeker searches for wads/pk3s.

You should set a directory for your wads to go under Options > Configure > Wadseeker > General in Doomseeker. You should set it to a folder that you have set as a file path. Such as your main MM8BDM folder (Possibly like C:Documents and Settings[Name]My DocumentsMM8BDM-v2c). Try that, and see if it works.
