According to Japanese canon, Mega Man does not know Proto Man is his brother. No one else besides Proto Man himself knows, except Light and (perhaps) Wily. The audience knows Proto Man is Mega Man' brother, but not Mega Man himself. In MM7, the "let's see which one of us Father made superior" line was absent in the japanese version and added in the american translation, and Mega Man knowing his relationship with Proto Man is considered not-canon.

Also, according to the japanese canon, Wily never worked with Light prior to MM3. They were just rivals. This is a misconception that dates from MM1's westernized story.

There's a lot of americanized translations/misconceptions like this that are considered canon in the US, but aren't in Japan (and thus, shouldn't be canon anywhere). Unless you want to go the same road Street Fighter fans went with the Balrog/Vega/M.Bison issue in SF2...

You kidding,  Ive BEATEN MM3. Just because Dr.Light said it was ProtoMan doesn't mean he told MegaMan he was his brother.

Aside from MM7 ("Let's see which one of us Dr. Light made stronger!"), the notebook in MM3 implies that MM looked through it and determined that he was related to Proto Man.

Also, yeah, Zero as a final boss has been done-to-death, killing Wily AND PM seems grim-dark for an MM game, Lawyer-Man is a terrible Robot Master for Wily to end with, Ninja-Man, Ocean-Man, and Laser-Man all sound like clones (Shadow-Man, Wave-Man, and Gemini-Man respectively), and Beat has no right to die with MM (Dr. Cossack made him, Dr. Cossack decides if he goes or stays).

Amd read Musahi's post AGAIN.  MegaMan does not know ProtoMan is is brother is the japanese version, there-fore non-canon is Japan, and should be non-canon everywhere else and hte notebook was for the audience/player, not for MegaMan.  Duh!

a MMK fight. Sounds cool I guess, but.. I dunno, it feels a bit lacking with these fortress bosses. We've seen these characters before.

There isn't an explanation for the fight of Wily, just the ending. Why? Why is the X series randomly being brought up? Why is Megaman killing Wily? That doesn't fit his character at all. Well now ends Megaman, but why the hell is Roll, Auto, Eddie, and Beat wanting to go to?
I don't see a good amount of logic in this, no offense.

Again, that's the English version. The Japanese version had no such line, and he never even charged up.

In MM7, Mega Man tried to kill Wily because he knew that the rebellions would never end because Wily would always find a loophole.

Megaman CAN'T break the three laws of the robotics. He's a robot. The whole point of X was a robot that wasn't bound by the three laws of robotics.

We KNOW that it's a reference to Phoenix Wright. It doesn't fit in with the other masters, and it's not even funny.
