So this guy at my school is making a space shooter so he can test how to use a program for future things.
And he was all like "Make me some music" and I was like "K"

So I have an edited first post.

Double posting is a fun thing to do.
Cause I have a level theme out. How riveting

I have famitracker, but I dont know much how to use it.

I kinda know, since I've seen a bit of a tutorial.

Ahh an update.

So I'm not super happy about this, but there's some parts I enjoy.

Oh and it's a tunnel theme as the title suggests.
And I have a week to make the third/boss theme (Which will be one song for cool)

The new one doesn't have a solid melody. It's not very catchy either.

And here is where I object.
I don't want to sound like a stuck up asshole by defending my own song and stuff, but there is a melody going on. In fact, there's 2 going on through out the song.

There's that thing that starts around 5 seconds in, and while at first it plays backround to the melody that kicks in shortly after (Which I'll get back to) once there's that transition that becomes the main thing, except at different notes. While at the start it stated at a C, went to B Flat, C again, and C Sharp. Once the transition happens it is G, F Sharp, G, and A Flat. But it's still the same thing. That repeats at a faster interval for a while, then at 45 seconds in, the melody that kicks in there is the same exact one from around 15 seconds in except at a higher interval. From then it loops and stuff.

As for the catchy thing, while it's a matter of opinion, more people have been saying otherwise.

But then again, this is all that really matters.

"This is fucking tight:D"- The person who I'm making the song for in the first place.
And if the person who I'm doing this for likes it, that's all that really matters.
Also you consider Lad's music to be pro. So it's hard to take critique from you seriously.

I disagree with Fyone's "there's no melody" comment but fully agree on the lack of catchiness.  By the time the song was over, I had completely forgotten everything I had listened to.  It's like Sylvania Castle Zone Act 1 from Sonic 4 Episode II:  You can put that song on for five minutes straight and if you turn it off and ask me to hum it, I couldn't do it for the life of me.

I technically didn't say there was no melody, I said that there was no solid one. I don't really think you should have two melodies in one song, because it's not solid but it's just my opinion.

Almost every megaman song ever has "two melodies" the way this song does.
Heck, Sheep Man breaks into Milk Bar in the middle of it!

I agree with Epic Kirby, if you think lad's music is proffesional, then people kinda can't take criticism from you seriously

Updated with another song.

Before anyone yells at me over the ending, it's leading in to the only boss in the game.
