If you liked Meiling's theme you could check out some of the other Touhou themes. For example, Patchouli, Tenshi, Youmu, Etc. all have good stage and boss music as well.

Pardon the double post, but I just wanted to know: Who here has ever cleared a Touhou Game on Normal? (The fighter Games don't count, those are too easy.)

I've 1cc'd 6 and 8 on hard, 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 on normal, And extra clear on 6,7,8,10, and phantasm clear.

I've 1cc'd all of them on normal except ten desires.
I 1cc'd EOSD and IN on hard
I came within a split second of killing Remilia and 1cc'ing EOSD on lunatic mode, but I got clipped on scarlet gensokyo.
I've cleared all the extra stages, except ten desires.
I cleared phantasm (with 4 lives left, too ^^)

Also I can't try EoSD anymore. Because my game crashes when I try ANYTHING related to stage 6. Even watching a replay of it. It's as if the stage didn't even exist.. And I can't find any pre-patched version of it, and I can't seem to be able to correctly patch it all up.

By the way, easy mode really doesn't teach you much about dodging other than the fact that bullets won't kill you unless they touch the very center of your sprite.

Here's a few tips:
For patterns that consist of most of the bullets being directly aimed at you, use a technique called "streaming". To do this, simply move to right or left slowly, but don't move back. Use this on Mystia's first spellcard: "Sphingid's wingbeats", and watch what happens. Pay close attention to the large purple bullets.

While you have a hitbox, the bullets also have hitboxes. Meaning that the bullets are actually smaller than they appear. The large bubble shaped bullets, for example, will not kill you unless you touch the part where the white starts to fade in with the color. The outer white part is harmless.

Focusing helps. By holding shift, your hitbox is made visible, your firepower is more concentrated, and your speed is halved. This is good for squeezing through tight spaces of bullets.

I 1CC'd EoSD on Normal with both of Reimu and Marisa's shot types. Took me a month, but the last two were cleared one in a day, the other the next day. I supposed I got super motivated at the end. The farthest I got in the Extra Stage though, was to Flandre's last spellcard. The first bullet hit me. Feel free to insert a demotivational here as I don't play those games anymore.
