This game right here. Found out about it today and beaten in the same day.
Pretty fun, good music (considering it's made by capcom)
Definitely has some lol worthy moments (like punisher's scream and grabbing kingpin by the ankles and spin toss him against enemies.)
Definitely worth checking out if you have mame and need for something new.

@Geno
Well, looks like your computer is not good enough.
SNES9x is normally less awful than ZSNES, you know.
The bsnes-type emulators sort of need a PC that isn't just an old netbook or so to fully work correctly.
And mednafen is launched from the command line, with a parameter pointing to the game you want to play. The window is not supposed to show up when just double-clicked on. But now that I learnt that you pretty much have an awful PC, don't even bother trying.

I know when those sound and frame issues happen, you know. My laptop automatically runs at 33% of its normal speed by default when running on batteries and if you activate that mode, mednafen's SNES emulation gets plagued by distorted music and slowdowns. Otherwise it works just perfectly.
See, accurate emulation doesn't work on the pony magic lesser-quality emulators use for running a game where they can take shortcuts and trade-offs.
Just don't ever think that ZSNES with a SNES controller is anything like a real SNES. It isn't, trust me. It just does too many thing wrong.
And keep in mind that TASvideos.org recently (like a year ago) switched their preferred SNES emulator from a SNES9x-variation to their own customized version of bsnes/higan's SNES emulation module, lsnes. And the lsnes-based Super Mario World TAS also got console-verified. I'd say that is a pretty good proof for its accuracy.

Hey Geno, have you played TSRPR yet? It's probably one of the best made SMW hacks out there, even if it's quite difficult in some levels.

@*Alice

When I originally bought my laptop about 2 years ago, I made sure to get one that could run games that required lots of ram whatsits.
Also, it wasn't used, and it ain't none of this crappy "old netbook" business.

Plus, with higan, I WAS able to eventually make it run properly, with accurate colours and sound.
It's just that almost ALL music from SMW hacks break anyway, because from what I read, higan doesn't bother to emulate echoes (it is noticed in SMRPG too, but at least it doesn't destroy everything).

What it does to the hack music, is that it turns the music into a series of buzzes, beeps, high-pitched lavender-town-like noises, and loud bangs.
The more music changes happen, the more distorted it gets, until there's no sound at all.
(Even with all the happy cat ghosts, VIP 5's Ghost Houses are oddly creepy when played like this.)
And if the music changes after THAT, then it crashes. :(

And that kinda ruins the point, as I got this thing to play the HACKS accurately.
If I wanted to play the normal games like they were on a real SNES, I'd just go and play them on my real SNES.

What's really odd, is that the SPC plugin for Winamp emulates the sound just like a real SNES, but it still works with hack music.  :?

@Knux
Yes, I have played TSRPR.
It is pretty neat.

In TV and stuff, I've gotten into Kill La Kill a few months ago thanks to some friends. It's pretty good, to say the least.
For games, I've been interested in competitive/getting better in tf2 through watching some of the pros (b4nny, taggertung) and I've been playing a lot of fighting games, mostly KOF.
Also, Double Dragon Neon is the best game ever and promotes Messatsu and TG bro-op

So the past few days I've been watching most of the episodes of Ultimate Muscle. Got to say its been pretty good to see the series you watched when you were young. Also the idea of a Twokinds/Red vs Blue crossover won't escape me.

Steamworld Dig.

It's a straightforward exploration game and while it doesn't seem to have much action going on, it is a really nice time killer and it is very easy to get stuck playing it.

World of Tanks. Oh god this has got hold and won't let go. "Just one more game", I tell myself at 2AM, "one more game and I'll call it a day". But one game turns into two. Then ten. Then twenty. Next thing I know it's 5AM.

"Fuck."

I got back into Pokemon Colosseum.

Naturally this means I have to stream it somehow. And people are going to quote me from it. :ugeek:

I've got the whole Dragon Ball GT series on DvD.

The show is pretty good, but I felt that they prolonged the Dark dragon ball saga for too long and that they should cut to the real action in the Baby Saga.

Just finished a 100% souls run of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.

And was reminded of how tedious it is getting souls to drop.

Star Trek.

Watching the movie series, by getting them from the library. It's free, and I'm patient.

Time for some old fashioned Necromancy.

Been playing a lot of Bravely Default lately. God, I love this game.
