This is a spinoff based off of EK's original story, basically using the same characters (I hope you guys don't mind that, and if you do alert me soon so I don't accidentally force you into this.) and will act sort of as an "Alternate Timeline" to the original. Written by me, and will be helped by the same team as EK has, including Epic Kirby himself.

So let's get this party started, with the beginning chapter part thing/prologue. (which will probably be short compared to later chapters)

PROLOGUE

There it stood, the Door. A nice sturdy door, simple yet elegant. It was wooden and covered with a coat of a simple maroon. It seemed like any other door, and it worked like most as well. With a simple turn of the pure gold knob, the door could be swung on its hinges into the other side, and this is where it becomes interesting. The interesting thing about this Door is, in fact, where it leads. Of course, this statement would seem ludicrous to anyone who could see this Door. It stood by its lonesome, among scattered ruins. Ruins of a laboratory, the owner of it unknown to us. For now, at least. No walls to hold the doorway steady, and no rooms to lead to. So the question remains: where does it lead? Well, you know what they say, "Curiosity killed the cat.", right? Well, the curiosity of the heroes of our story, people who we will soon meet, will kill much more than mere felines. Ah, and one of them seems to be approaching right now! There it goes, the golden knob slowly turning. But, who could be turning this knob? There's no one to be seen, on either of this door. On OUR side of the Door, at least. The door swings open, and in comes...

?...someone we do not care about yet! We will get to this fellow soon enough, as he would be the first of many to open the mysterious Door. But for now, we turn our sights to a much different  fellow. He has quite a unique name, it being Terukasaga. It's a bit of a troublesome name, actually, so for now we'll just call him Jonathan. Fair enough. He has just woken up from a nice nap, which was actually caused by a giant explosion! But that's not important right now, what's important is him. Why don't we take a look inside his thoughts, eh?

Chapter 1 - Open

"WhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyYYYYYYYY!?" Terukasaga yelled to the heavens. Finding yourself tattered and beaten up quite a bit really messes up your thinking. He stood in the middle of a seemingly endless desert, with nothing but sand, sand, and even more sand. The sight of all this sand began to make Terukasaga hate sand. Hated it almost as much as humanity. He started to kick at the sand, pretending each minuscule grain of painstakingly hot sand was a tiny little person just waiting to be brought justice with a swift kick in the everything. He stomped on it, grabbed handfuls and chucked it in all directions, and probably digested a little of it too. He went so insane that after a while his insanity did a reach around and he became self aware of the fact that he was indeed insane, and soon just got tired of being insane. Once he fell back into his senses, he decided the only thing he could do is walk. He chose a direction, and put one front of the other and repeat. He was too tired to be tired or hungry, and soon he just felt the walking become just a simple pattern. He felt like a robot, going through the same motions without any emotion. It felt like he had been walking for days, and after exactly 35 minutes since he started, he finally spotted a small town.
?Although it was empty, Terukasaga was more than happy to see something other than continuous rolling hills of sand. The buildings seemed primitive, and looked to be built out of nothing but hardened clay, and some wood for extra support. I guess he shouldn't have expected much from a town in the middle of nowhere. Especially after pretty much the whole world was effected by that huge explosion. Where had that come from, anyway? No use wondering, he supposes. It may remain a mystery for a long time, maybe even for the rest of his life. That's how huge, mysterious earth-shaking explosions work, I guess. Terukasaga quickly finds a suitable clay home, and decides to take a nap in a more comfortable bed. He was surprised houses like this were able to stay as intact as they are. No running water, and no food either, but the shelter had to suffice. It was getting dark outside, and who knows what kind of things appear in desert nights. He quickly closed his eyes, wanting this whole dilemma to go away. He hoped when he opened them again, he'd be back on his home island, with his beloved brother. Oh, how he missed him...
?Terukasaga woke up to the bright sunlight of a desert morning. He put his boots back on, and walked out of the humble abode. When he walked out, what he saw was a surprise. He saw arrows everywhere, painted in a blood red. They were marked on all of the small buildings, and even in the sand. They all pointed to one direction. Someone was trying to leave a message. Could that someone still be here?
?"Hey! Is anyone there?" Terukasaga yelled out. No response. Dang, he was hoping there'd be someone to talk to besides himself. He usually hated people in general, but right now he was wishing for any living creature to be there to listen to what he has to say. The arrows were large and inviting, telling him to go that direction. They persisted and insisted, like voices inside his head. He couldn't help it. He would've trusted anything that was nice enough to talk to him by now. He followed the arrows. They stopped showing up once he hit the edge of the town, so he assumed to just go in that general direction until he saw something. And so he did.
?Another half hour that felt like forever for Terukasaga passed, and he relentlessly ventured in the directions that the arrows told him. By now he could tell that it was not the arrows' voices that were pestering before. They were his own voices, haunting his own mind. Yes, he has totally gone insane. The grew stronger as  he took each step. They were commanding, and didn't sound like the nicest folks. But they had voices, and that's all that he needed. He had walked so much in the desert, that he almost forgot that he was trying to go somewhere. Until he saw it. Ruins, debris, giant pieces of what used to be a very advanced building. It might've been a labratory of some sort in its past, but it was only scrap now. Was this it? He wanted to explore this sight, but he couldn't The voices told him to keep going in a perfectly straight line. He did what they commanded, and he couldn't help it. They were so loud, it was like they were his own thoughts. He took step after step, the voices grew even more. They seemed to turn into shouts. He kept his path, and soon he walked into the ruins. He had to step over many large pieces of walls, but he did not break off the course. He walked forward, and forward only. The voices began to say something different now. Now they weren't saying things such as "Take a step." ?or "Keep going!". Now they were saying phrases that sounded like "Open the door!". The Door? What door? Well, not that long after, he saw what door they were talking about. He saw a maroon door, with a shiny looking door knob. What was this doing here, he questioned himself. Of course, he couldn't here his own question over the voices, that were now chanting. Three simple words:
"Open the door!"
Terukasaga trudged forward to the Door.
"Open the door!"
The voices were ringing in his ears, he reached for the knob.
"Open the door!"
This was it, this was the key to salvation! Or...
"Open the door, Jon!"
...was it?
The door swung open from a simple touch of the knob. What he saw threw him in a shock. This was too much to take, and adding it to his hunger, his pain, and his lack of sanity, he gave up.

As soon as he opened the door, he dropped on the floor.

Chapter 2 - Reveal

A sad end for our fellow, Jon, is it not? Well, there's plenty more where that came from! Well, don't think of this as too disappointing. His role in all of this, while short, was actually quite important. He opened the Door as he should have, letting the rest flow out. Now, don't you think it would be a good time to return to the scene of the other one we almost met? I do too. Sadly, we can not travel into his mind as we did Jon's at this point. He is actually very busy at the moment, so for now we'll have to settle for someone a little more interesting. Let us start at the beginning...

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

The empty noises of time slowly passing by rang down the halls of laboratory. Cuckoo Condor slowly floated his way down the cold, metal corridor. But this isn't the Condor we know and love or possibly loathe. He is the Condor of another world, separate from ours. Much different than ours, yet so similar. Far, far away from ours, yet only a Door away...
The loud-speakers crackled for a bit, and then proceeded to deliver its message.
"Cuckoo Condor, please attend to Development Center #74." it said, in its monotone, robotic voice. Unlike our common loud-speaker, there was no human being behind its voice, only programs. This was a normal thing for this new world. Cuckoo Condor was used to this voice more than others, though. He was called often by this loud-speaker, but never for good news. Even in their world, such a creature as our half-clock, half-bird buddy was uncommon. In our world, he is seen as simply a threat, and a being to be feared. In their world, he is deemed as pathetic and unworthy of anything close to respect. And very much unlike our Condor, this alternate version accepted this. He knew his role in society, and accepted the job as TsuZero Labs's test subject. And with this position, he was commonly called to test every new invention, medicine, and drug developed in the Labs. Why he was being called Development Center, and not a Testing Area to test something, was a mystery.
After many passes through security, he floated to the Development Center he was summoned to. He went through the sliding doors, and saw what the most recent project of TsuZero Labs was. A gigantic and complicated laser-lauchy thing. It looked very dangerous, and Cuckoo Condor dared not to touch it. He knew his place. He saw the laser-shooty end of the contraption, and noticed it was pointed at an interesting door. Condor could only guess at what today's expirament would be. Maybe they would shoot him with the laser, next, giving him a nice sky blue coat just like the door. After a long glance at the machine, he noticed that an assortment of doctors were approaching him. He was ready to accept his next assignment of testing, no matter how cruel it would seem. Instead, it was a rather simple phrase of instruction.
"Walk through the door." they told him. That was it? Condor wanted to question this, but he decided to keep his beak shut. It was rare that the experiments went easy on him. So, he decided to do what they told him. He approached the door cautiously. He reached for the golden door knob. What could possibly go wrong?
The door opened, and on the other end was a desert. A desert, and a boy. A peculiar looking boy, who looked tired, hungry, and probably insane. He froze at the sight of Cuckoo Condor, and the whole laboratory behind him. The boy dropped to the ground. This gave Cuckoo Condor more of a view of the desert that was across the doorway. This laboratory was nowhere near a desert. The boy, now possibly dead, seemed familiar, but how did he get here? Desert winds blew some sand into the laboratory.

Chapter 3 - Create

The news spread fast of what occured in Development Center #74. Some were going around calling it success. Others called it the beginning of a large disaster. Of course, those others kept their calls quiet. This was an accomplishment TsuZero Labs have been striving for for years, an invention sought to be rendered into reality. A public announcement for this was in order.
Everyone from high-ranking doctors to visitors who were only taking a tour were invited to the assembly. The hall had more than enough seats for everyone. Crowds filed in, as the TsuZero Labs logo glowed on the huge screen hovering over the stage that all the seats faced. On the stage itself, stood one of the most important men of this world. Although he was looked up to by all the population of this world, he preferred that anyone and everyone call him by his simple nickname, Dr. Tsuki.
He was an intelligent and young doctor, who had many ideas for every invention you could possibly dream of. He was the founder of TsuZero Labs, and managed and came up with almost every project handled by TZ Labs. But, while many praised him for this characteristic, he only saw it as a flaw. With so many inventions, one man can not complete them all. Most of his ideas, while great, only get so far before withering off and becoming nothing but a memory. In fact, most inventions are given up on before even coming out of the planning stages. The doctor was fickle, and almost never settled on one goal before creating a new one. When a project does come to fruition, though, is when his intelligence and hard work really shines. It was a rare occurrence, but one that wasn't often forgotten either. Luckily, this was one of those times.

TZ Labs's most recent project that they had been working on, they called the Door. We, as people who are simple recalling the tale, already know what this project was made to do. The people of this time, however, did not. The mere name of it mystified the audience of the presentation. Images of the Door itself flashed on the futuristic screen, perplexing them even more. This was putting a smile on Dr. Tsuki's face, knowing that he was only building up the suspense. Soon, he was about to explain the true power of TZ Labs's latest and greatest invention. Why, with this simple, heavily modified door, the people of his world would soon be able to travel to many other locations. And not just any other vacation spot. This Door would be able to take anyone safely to and from other dimensions. We already knew this, but the audience burst into shock and awe as Tsuki carefully explained this to them as more images of the project projected onto the screen. It was a complicated process that even the doctor himself had trouble explaining, though, so he had a few other trusted individuals up on the stage to help him.

One of these people was a simple boy, who was one of Dr. Tsuki's most trusted advisors. His mind older than his body, he was very smart for his own age. He had achieved the position as an advisor and Manager at 14 years of age. He stood as calm as water as he surveyed the labs, and protected it. He didn't talk much, and when he did, it only sounded like small waves softly hitting the shore. He absolutely despises violence. He almost never goes in headfirst for close-quarters combat and only resorts to using his water-controlling powers when things really, really get out of control.Little did he know, things were soon about to indeed get really, really out of control.

We'll get to that later, though. We still have someone to attend our attention to! Let us go back a bit further in time once more.

A blue robot hovers around the large machine of the Development Center. Although it would amount in a high profit, that wasn't the important part. What was important was the entrance. He headed for the Door, ready to put his plan into action.

Chapter 4 - Fly

?Raveman hovered through the door and into the cold desert. It was nighttime in both worlds, which made things easier for him. Raveman was a blue robot, a large fan prominently placed as his main body that hovers over the ground, with rather large red shoulder blades and long arms dangling from the sides for extra reach. One arm wields his fan buster, replacing his other hand and used to keep anyone out of his way. He liked to deal with things quickly to get to his goal, and preferred to keep his opponents out without anything getting messy. He liked to keep his red and blue paint job in a shine that showed that he was no usual rust bucket of a robot. Even though the area where his eyes should be are left black in mystery, he still manages to give off an aura that correctly accentuates his arrogance. And more importantly, his chaotic demeanor.
?Raveman was excited by the sight of this new world. Even though he's only seen its empty deserts, he was ready to see more. He quickly launched into the air, taking flight. He flew through the skies of our world, looking down at every landscape there was. He flew for hours, and circled back to the deserts in which the Door stood. If he had the ability to, he would have laughed. Laughed at every city, town, monument and land form he passed by, knowing what would soon to happen all of it. But no, the higher-ups built his mouth shut years ago. He would never be able to express any spark of though his circuits generated, not after what happened that day. The disability was once cumbersome, but he has grown used to it. Instead, he focuses his anger and discomfort on others.
?Near the end of his flight, he notices a small town in the middle of the desert. The buildings seemed to be made out of clay. The primitive alignment of this place irked Raveman. He lived in a version of our world that was more advanced, you could say. A simple town such as this would be new to a regular inhabitant of their world, and it also vexed Raveman. He liked to keep the rules, but only the ones that he created. He decided the construction of this small town broke all of them. He swooped down, ready to downsize it to its foundations. But he wanted to stroll through it first, to take it all in and to get to know what he would soon destroy. It looked deserted, which made some of the fun that would come from destroying it shrink a little, until he saw the boy. Inside one of the clay homes, he found a young human sleeping in a tattered bed. How could he even take comfort on a bed like that? No matter, this discover was perfect. Rave man changed his mind about destroying the town, and instead decided to use its walls to send a message to this boy.
?He searched the town's materials, and quickly found a bucket of red paint, along with a paint brush. Convenient, Raveman thought, as he retrieved the paint and brush and began to work. He used it to paint arrows pointing in the direction of the Door he came from. He knew a naive looking boy like the one that currently rested his tired head would foolishly follow these arrows. This would trigger the first interaction between the two worlds. Raveman and all of the ones that he worked for knew that each and every one of these interactions would count.
?With his job done for the night, he put the paint and brush back, and flew back to the Door. He looked back at our world, that would soon be doomed, and yearned for the ability to laugh once more. The rest flowed as he expected, with the arrival of the boy perfectly timed with the testing of TsuZero Labs's newest project. Raveman headed back to headquarters as the familiar events of Terukasaga's long trek takes place.

?And that wraps up only the beginning of our story, dear readers. With this out of the way, we can return to a bit more recent events. The presentation was still going on, wasn't it?

With the presentation over, Dr. Tsuki and his advisors such as the young boy from before left the stage. The audience was escorted out of the facility as they conversed among themselves. They constantly wondered about the more specific details of the Door. This new invention was no doubt going to be revolutionary, and one of the main questions was how? How would the Labs use this portal to a different dimension, and more importantly, how would the common people of? the city be able to use it? The audience walked out into their futuristic city that surrounded the Labs. It was as diverse in its population as it was in its architecture. Both humans and robots roamed together in a surreal fashion. To us, just the sight of advanced cyborgs and machines would surely intrigue us, but to walk among them was just another thing that held these two worlds at opposite ends of the dimensional spectrum. They were treated just like humans, and just like humans, there were both "good" and "bad" robots. Being as advanced as they were, they were able to make their own decisions, and to replicate the behaviour of humans to the best of their ability. Some become one the common people, some became heroes with the abilities that exceeded those of humans', and some used their powers for more sinister causes. I'm sure you can tell which Raveman falls into. Raveman was infamous among the citizens of this currently unnamed city. Always commiting crimes and causing chaos, but unknown to most, he did most under the command of ones even more malicious beings. Yes, he wasn't very well liked by many. And one good example of a person that REALLY didn't like the arrogant, blue robot,
was a girl named Elena. ?

Chapter 5 Part 1 - Fight

?Elena Ampere, your usual school girl in the usual school girl outfit. She had a skip to her step as she strolled her way home from school. Yes, even their universe has school. Not even traveling to an alternate universe can keep you from being forced into a large amount of years of organized education. She walked past all of the amazing sights of the city she grew up in, as she always does after school. She wandered from the courtyard placed in front of the TsuZero Labs building to the large, metallic statue of the man who founded their city. She walked up to the platinum plaque that was secured to the base of the noble statue. On it, read the simple initials "C.M.M." Spelling out his whole name would've been unnecessary, as anyone who lived in that city already knew his name. He was a man who Elena looked up to, and for good reason. Not only did he found the large metropolis, but he also did his best to protect it during his life time. He was a strong leader, and an even stronger crime fighter. Something that Elena wanted to be one day.
?Elena resumed her walk home, and greeted her family upon arrival with a smile like always. She was a bright and patient girl, and enjoys helping her friends as well as all the people of the city anyway she can. Which is why she quickly runs out the front door as soon as she enters. Every day after school, Elena visits at the Law Enforcement Department to learn and observe the basics and tasks of being a crime fighter, just like the hero they call C.M.M. She has in fact visited and worked hard enough to become a Junior Crime Fighter. There's no actual title for what she does, but that's what she likes to call herself, and it's quite fitting. She is able to take on any case and criminal that any other officer could take, and is basically a part-time police officer. Usually, leaving a young girl to take down criminals would be kind of a bad idea. Elena is a different case, though. Even with average physical capability of a school girl, she makes up for with her skill with the whip. She is always carrying on her her Copper Whip, a present she received while she was young that she uses only for self defense and to disable a criminal on the loose. She rarely uses it for violence, and tries to get it over with as quickly as possible if she is forced to resort to it. With this whip, she can maneuver and defeat with precise technique, in a fashion that is both quick yet powerful. Her energetic battle style and overall is often compared to the mighty lightning bolt, which wouldn't be too inaccurate.

The Department was futuristic as always, with gadgets similar yet more advanced to the ones in our universe. Besides that, it seemed like a headquarters not too different from the ones belonging to our world. Elena simply took a seat in one of the many comfy chairs and waited. This step is pretty much routine by now, as she only has to wait a few minutes before being requested to use her commendable abilities to promptly beat the bad guy down to the ground and strike 'em hard right in the everything. She has been volunteering more and more, and has become more trusted in police work. She's befriended many of the officers at the station, and has also gotten to know some of the common criminals running around causing trouble. She's come to know and despise the ones that insist on wreaking havoc all across the city. In fact, during her years of junior officer work, she has sparked up a rivalry with a certain criminal, a robot known to use his high powered fans and jets to cause things such as tornado and flat out chaos. Although, what the citizens call chaos, Raveman likes to call one of his "raves". It's almost hard to be terrified in the middle of the tornado when notice him "dancing" in the middle of all of it. And by dancing I mean something that would be easily assumed as having a seizure. If robots could have seizures. He is truly a robot not quite right in his circuited electro-brain.
?Elena's waiting is soon interrupted by calls for her help. An officer rushes towards her and notifies her of the crime at hand. And what a coincidence, you'll never guess who's the criminal this time. Elena sprints out of the station with her copper whip, excited for another encounter with him. Even though they are rivals, and quite thoroughly hate each other's guts/robotic parts, there is still a tint of the situation leaning towards a more friendlier rival. The relationship is complicated, and the details of it will probably remain unimportant throughout this story. I am almost mostly certain that that is the case. Elena quickly finds her way around the city to the location given to her. She has ran through these streets enough to know every ?location throughout it. And sure enough, the winds pick up as she nears the destination. The screams of terrorized civilians are now audible. Elena enters the whirlwind while struggling to remain on the ground. She then uses the winds to her advantage, and carefully makes her way up buildings without being completely taken away by the winds. Of course, she doesn't do so without showing off some fancy flips and gymnastic-olympian tier maneuvers. This is clearly what lightning is all about. She gets some footing on the top of an exceptionally tall tower, and quickly surveys the damage below. Yep, stuff's broken alright. During her sweeping glance, though, she catches a familiar figure. The figure turns, and does the same vice versa. Elena and Raveman lock eyes as their instincts kick in. In case you can not tell, this is the moment where the metaphorical feces strikes the rotating blades of a somewhat primitive air-conditioning mechanism.

The battle starts off with a quick crack of the whip by Elena. It barely misses, but only due to the winds messing with the swing and trajectory of the whip. In this condition, her weapon is rendered useless. She had to lead Raveman out of this mess in order to get a good shot with her whip. Of course, Raveman wouldn't allow this. He drove the battle inward, and constantly took strikes at Elena, causing her to back up further and further into the cyclone. This simply would not do. Even though skilled, Elena was still quite a fragile teenage girl, while Raveman is a bulky and well-crafted robot made of metal. Nonetheless, she took a stab at it. Elena let her feet go, and was caught into the spiral of the tornado. Raveman became confused for a few seconds, as Elena rode the spiraling winds. The tornado spun from inside out, and gave Elena more speed as she went round and round. She outstretched her arm, and took an aerodynamic form. She flew like a superhero with the current of the blow, her outreached hand into a tight fist. With the power of a whole tornado behind her, Elena and her fist flew right into Raveman's large metal build. With both speed and force, the strike was certainly comparable to that of lightning. All onlookers found the sight of the full force punch to be quite elegant amidst all the other onlookers who were too busy screaming. Raveman found it absolutely hideous, though. Almost as disgusting as the ground that he soon skidded across and not coming to a stop until gaining a few I mean a lot of scratches

. Raveman regained balance, and now hovered closer to the edge of the whirlwind. Before he could return to the inside, Elena shot out of cyclone, taking Raveman with her fist-first. Raveman was again knocked a distance back, but regained calibration quicker in order to prepare for the next strike. Except there was none. Elena was too busy realizing how painful it is to punch metal, especially at high speeds. She continued to exclaim plenty of rude words that would have made even Raveman become flushed in embarrasment if such an action was possible for robots. Instead, Raveman decided to use this moment as an advantage. With her now disabled for a moment, he had a chance to blow this match back into his own windy domain. He revved up his fan, and blew his strongest gust towards Elena. Fortunately, she reacted quick enough to withhold a more stable stance. She ignored her excruciatingly suffering knuckles long enough to pull out her Copper whip. She sidesteps Raveman's gust, and takes another swing. This time it is successful, and ensnares Raveman within its deadly grip. Sure that the robot's secured, Elena simultaneously pulls Raveman towards herself and releases the whip, leaving the robot open for yet another strike. Not with her fist, though. She would never do that again ever. She does a stylish spin, and with uses her well-covered foot to kick the ever-living feces right out of Raveman and into the spinning air-conditioning device. Raveman is knocked back yet again, this time farther than ever. With such successful hits, victory was surely Elena's. Raveman laid on the ground motionless for maybe a minute or two. With him taken care of, Elena had to quickly settle this tornado. She turned to figure out how she would go about doing so, which soon became her terrible mistake.
?The battle wasn't over yet.

Chapter 5 Part 2 - Flight

?Raveman got up, despite his scratches and damages. He had been severely beaten, but this was nothing compared to what he has put up with from individuals on the same side as himself. He did a prompt scan of his stability, most parts coming up to 50 to 60% at most. It was enough. He revved up the spinning blades of the fan installed onto his right arm. He had not played this card yet. With Elena thinking he was down for the count and foolishly turning away, he took the advantage. The fan was charged, and the target straight ahead. This was the moment he had been yearning for. Although small, this was one of the most important moments in the whole history of their rivalry. The seemingly everlasting quarrel between the mechanical menace that bends the air around them and utilizes it with malice, and the young girl who uses only her whip and powers unbeknownst to us yet to single-handedly maintain justice within the city she has grown up in. Raveman had it all planned out from here. With this shot, he would blow Elena right back into the tornado, where he has more power. Once they are both within the whirlwind, Raveman could easily end the whole battle with his own manipulation of the tornado around him.  With his arm stiffened and aimed towards his own rival, he shot the winds of his power straight at her. Elena was caught off guard, and was blown back directly into the tornado she had been trying to escape. She is immediately caught in the winds, and was now going around and around with the debris that has been picked up by the tornado. This was exactly what she needed.
?Before Elena picked up elevation along with speed, she is able to wrap her whip around a nearby streetlight. She firmly plants her feet in the ground with as much energy as she can, and uses the rest of her energy to focus. She was about to do something she hasn't done in a while. Ever since she first used her power, she was scared about ever wielding it again. It was powerful, and could accidentally harm anything and anyone nearby. But she noticed the tornado was clear of civilians by now, and she had hoped it was due to them getting out safely. She closed her eyes tight, and tried to shut off her ears. Slowly, she closed herself off from the rest of her reality while still holding on tight to her whip, which was also losing its grip at a similarly slow pace. She cleaned her mind of all her thoughts, and reduced her mind to a blank slate. A stage for the light show about to take place. A spark raced across the dark of her mind, and now more. Soon whole circuits and chains of electricity were streaking in all directions as energy built up inside of her. Soon the light of it all became too overbearing even for her own mind, and she was forced to open her eyes. And yet, the electricity was not gone. It has transitioned into reality, and was now running along her figure and down her whip. The electricity shot lightning in all directions, one by one shocking everything around her in a chaotic pattern. It was time potential turned into kinetic, and the energy took over.

In a streak of light, Elena flew in a circle, against the current of the tornado. Around and around she went yet again, only in the opposite direction. She didn't know if this plan would work, but it seemed like it was worth a shot. From Raveman's point of view, among the visible winds circling around the eye of the tornado, there was the occasional lightning flash across and around. He didn't know what was going on. Elena had never used her powers in front of Raveman before, since she never needed  to use it, and rarely wanted to use it. Soon, the lightning became more prominent among the circular walls of the tornado. Not because the energy became stronger, but because the tornado became weaker. Raveman stood in awe at the feat of his own opponent. Even though he had grown stronger, Elena had still surpassed him. Yes, like most rivalries, there is always a weaker side trying to catch up to the stronger side, and this one was no exception. Raveman had pushed himself to his limits just to be a match for this teenage girl, which embarrased him plenty, and had him laughed at by almost everyone he works with. The fact that he had trained and tortured himself through all of the jokes about him just to beat Elena, and still to no avail, had angered him. He has had enough. He revved his fan once again, this time with as much power as he has left in his system. He wanted all of this behind him, he wanted that girl dead. He would use his own iron fists to kill his opponent, mercilessly. His circuits were overloading. He didn't care, this was nothing. All of his pain, all of his thoughts, and he has begun to believe that even his own actions and what little importance he? has to this godforsaken world are all artificial. He was a robot, and whether he exploded right then and there wouldn't matter, the Earth would still turn. The ones that have been in control of him couldn't care less. He was virtually nothing, and was seen as such by almost everyone. Except for Elena. She was the only one that saw him as a threat, and even though only a human teenager, he had taken pride in his ability to put up fight against his rival. Elena was the only one that acknowledged his existence as more than a small ant, and would soon be the one to finally put him out of his misery. In the end, rival or not, Raveman saw Elena as important to his artificial life, as the only one that cared about him, even if it was out of hate. She was the only one that expected a good fight out of him. With his last watts of power, he did not disapoint her.

With the tornado finally gone, Elena shoots out of her revolution and straight towards Raveman with lightning speed. He takes his final stance, and fires his fan. The wind blows against Elena, but it was not enough. The lightning bolt still struck. As the smoke from the blow cleared, there was nothing but robotic parts scattered around Elena. The lightning had cleared away from her as well, and with it the long-standing rivalry. It was all over. She had done what's in her job description; she had promptly beat down the bad guy and struck him where it hurt, which was conveniently everywhere. She looked around at the damage around her. It was a depressing sight, but at least the tornado hadn't destroyed things too much. She noticed there were many papers flying around, slowly raining down like leaves. One swooped onto the ground in front of her, and she picked it up. She noticed it was another one of these fliers. The same word was typed across the top of the paper, "MISSING". These "Missing" fliers were usually used to advertise a missing loved one, but this was not the case of the ones currently plastered over all of the city's walls. This time, the officials were looking for a criminal. This wasn't simply a missing-person case, it was a bounty hunt. With the reward at an amount higher than most could imagine, almost everyone who was at least able to wield a firearm was on the hunt for this criminal mastermind. This included Elena, who had been feverishly searching for him on days when there were no other cases to take on. No one of the city knew where he had escaped to. Maybe another city, maybe another country, maybe...another dimension? The idea was preposterous, but people have been looking everywhere. He could be anywhere. She moved her gaze further down the paper, to read once again the name of the one that has been terrorizing this city for as long as she could remember. As she read it over and over again, her mind was not filled with hate, nor happiness. Instead, it was a simple thought, one shared by many of the citizens of CS City:

Chapter 6 - Write

?Yes, this universe has been quite a spectacle. It's quite different from ours, yet at the same time abound with similarities to our own reality as well. It has an array of characters, recognizable in appearance but unfamiliar to us in personality. It contains locations and landmarks similar to the ones that stand proud in our world, yet each comes with a completely different history. It is in fact so interesting to the eyes of us, who have never experienced such a reality, that we could delve into the details of this vast opposition to our own universe for countless of lengthy, beautifully written yet labor-intensive chapters of paragraphs after paragraphs of the tales of the ones who are us yet not, simultaneously. And so, I find it best that we move onto another story. Nothing too far off our current one, though. In fact, this change of scenery is only a door away, to a more familiar setting. We still have our own world to check on, and how it's common civilization has been holding up.

?The location is Alaska, one of the numerous states of the United States of America. As cold as the hearts of numerous Americans, its snow that blankets the landscape leaves no room for common civilization. And yet, there are many brave souls that make their own room. People who practice their own strength and endurance, and put it to the test against the harsh frost of the North. There are those, and then there are others, others who would probably be mistaken as a brave soul, who are in fact people who reside in such a horrid state simply to be safe. Safe within themselves, and their own isolation, they have time to rest, to express their own thoughts and reflect upon them, all inside their own psyche. Those thoughts, however, can always be conveyed through more physical means. Although I am the one that holds the task of telling you this story, the narrator that you look to when in need for their view of the tale, it would not be against the rules for a narrator such as myself to let their own characters tell the story, through their own words, thoughts, and possibly their diary entries. At least, I would certainly hope so.

?We focus on a specific log cabin, protruding its wooden structure from the otherwise flat, snowy land. More importantly, a certain inhabitant of that very cabin, as he feverishly writes down his thoughts on the subject of all that is going around him in his diary...

"-Location: 20 miles east of Anchorage, Alaska. Time: 1:34 P.M.-

As far as I know, this world is nothing more than a wasteland by now. The news on the television, the giant military raids that followed, and the constant fighting that culminated in a bunch of arrogant pricks blowing the world apart for little more than some angsty drama bullshit.

I really hate that. I really hate it when idiots blow up the world. And it's so amazing to know that I've been able to pull through all of this by applying basic survival skills. Being stealthy, planning my moves, and eating sparingly.

That, and about 1000 rounds of ammunition stuffed in my basement.

But of course, that won't get you far when a bunch of supernatural freaks and robots come crawling all over your planet, with intentions no more complex than "I'm a bad guy going to blow up the world muahahahaha"

Funny, it took no more than a rifle bullet to take one of those freaks down. Given, it was by surprise and it was with my trusty sniper rifle that I keep at my window. That reminds me, it's ?time to check the area for supernaturals.

Going down the stairs, I wonder what I'll find on the giant television in the living room. That's of course if there's any channels still up after all this destruction. Nowadays, a simple radio is more valuable than a giant $1000 television that I only use for watching the World Cup once every four years. Radios give me signals and help me keep tabs on the surrounding bases and strongholds. All a telly will do is let me watch static.

ColdFusion is in the kitchen, as usual. He's one of the supernaturals that actually isn't on some egotistical mission of destruction. For all I know, he just got bored one day and decided to wander around the planet, until he came up to my house and asked for a warm bed. He's a good man. A bit silent, but at least he has strategic benefits.

As for what's in the fridge, I'm not surprised that I'll have to go hunting again. The looting that followed the giant announcement on the telly made sure that only the true survivors would show up later on.

When you go hunting, it's better to go on something silent and small than on a giant SUV, guns blazing. I remember a transmission where someone did that against one of the supernaturals. The last thing he said was "arhghghghghahhgahaghgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhadsklghah".

No more than twenty minutes later, a small group of snipers managed to pick off the supernatural and bring their body to the house, where it was eaten for dinner. I remember them telling us that supernaturals tasted like mushrooms and chicken, with a small hint of fish.

It's what I found so funny about these robots and freaks. You give them a small, open battlefield and they'll use their exxagerated abilities on you. They completely undermine the power of lead, especially when it's fired from a powerful gun. That, and the fact that they're bipolar as fuck. In the last few days that I could actually watch TV, they managed to get a close view of one of the supernaturals. The news van looked no more than 100 feet away from the group of supernaturals. They seemed like relatively cheerful people, just strolling by this planet for fun. The second they saw a human with a gun, though, they went batshit insane and tried to blow up the entire city.

It was times like those that made me glad I'm stuck in Alaska, where the best chance they have of survival is through arial combat. But that's what I have ColdFusion for. He's got those crazy wings on his back, and he makes for an amazing scout.

Six hours of hunting later, and all I have to show for it is a small deer and a couple of fish. It will definitely do for a couple of days, but I'm a man who likes security and stability. Looks like I'll have to do more hunting tomorrow.

God forbid the supernaturals ever come across me and Alaska. If they're some egotistical leader, we've got a bullet with their name on it. For the robots, we've got some missles and corrosive bullets ready for their arrival. And if a supernatural comes.... I pray they can sustain a large bullet to the head. God knows that the first supernatural I shot couldn't."

The writer puts his pencil down, quickly scans over his own creation. He made sure what was written in that book was his own truth, as we was confident that he would be the only one to know of this projecting of his own thoughts. This diary was one of the only things that have lasted through his lifetime, and worked hard to make sure it stayed his and for his eyes only. For someone to see the words on these pages, would be devastating. It is a good thing that no one will ever read his private diary, and that it will never be known that he wrote this. Not his current housemate, not the almost omniscient narrator, who is learned in the details of this story, and ?hopefully not the being that slowly approached his modest log cabin.

Also, I guess it's ok to add some characters, just don't add too much, and I'll probably close character additions soon because unlike Epic Kirby I can't hold all of these characters, and I'll still be using the characters from the original.

Battles are definitely more exciting and you probably have a lot more to work with (most people will go all-over 9000 for their power levels, leaving little to spare for personalities). Of course, it's also personal preference. (I'm going to go on a limb and guess you like shonen animes over other genres? If you watch anime, that is.) It's also good because if Reboot writes traditional chapter style, it'll differentiate the spinoff a good deal more. Wins for everyone. (except jonathan lulz).
