Some Smash Bros is always nice, and I like the NES counterpart images too! Background creates poor contrast for them though, but the main bits stand out well. And the pixel art on the mains is nice. Overall, 8/10.

Er... You might want to read this first...

Mine I put it together myself.
- The background is one of the end backgrounds of The Future-Past 3 DLC of Fire Emblem Awakening.
- The pixel art is made by Daniel "Abysswolf" Oliver. Of course, they are three characters appearing in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, and my actual in-game "mains". - The sprites were ripped by various rippers on The Spriters Ressource, and recolored by me.
From left to right, we have Little Mac (boxers with green gloves, from the Punch-Out!! games, has his victory sprite from the NES Punch-Out!! game recolored in orange, bronze-like colors), Mega Man / Megaman (self-explanatory. I expect everybody on this site to recognize him easily, for various reasons. He also has that gold sprite that I believe most people here would recognize as similar to the one that appears in the ending of the Megaman 6 chapter in Megaman 8-bit Deathmatch, except it's the idle sprite and it's colored WAY lighter, because I recolored him myself), and Lucina (swordswoman and lord from Fire Emblem Awakening, and she's also a time-traveller. Her "overworld map"s idle sprite from her own game has been recolored by me to be somewhat monochrome and silver-like).

7/10 I like Top Man. Not too much, not too little, but I think he's kinda cool.

I kinda like the sprite approach, but the size of those NES sprites feels super inconsistent, and it doesn't mesh well with the higher-detailed counterparts. Either way, I give thisssss 8.2/10 it's nice on the eyes

Yeah, I had to resize them for SOMEWHERE ELSE I've already mentioned... (http://extremmefandumpsandbox.smackjeeves.com/comics/2117216/smash-4-wiiu-3ds-top-5-newcomers/: it was one of my older works as well, not that I've done many UPLOADED newer work anyway)

Anyways, er... American butterfly? That's... odd, but kind of cool-looking. I'd give it a free 7/10.

A mess of too many sprite styles and no focus on anything. It's like those intro cards from internet shows who think they're cool showing a random string of clips. 4/10

Pretty generic and nothing really stands out about it, maybe removing the blue background would make it look a little more interesting. 6.6/10

7/10, neat to know Nash is basically back. And he's cooler then ever now. The moves the-- Right, need to give people room.
Basically, he's a cool dude with cool cutter-like attacks. On par with Rugal Bernstein.

7.1/10 I guess the art style matches up with the vulgarity of Doom Guy flipping us off, but giving people the bird doesn't sit well with me. Ah well, it's not bad
