Why did they stop? Here are my 2 theories: (click to show/hide)1. The Starforce series did not get good reception.Since Starforce did not sell as many copies as the Battle Network series Capcom didn't think it was worth making 5 sequels like they did for Battle Network. This problem lead to my other theory...2. Capcom failed EuropeansSince Starforce didn't get such a good reception, they did not sell the 'master piece' of the series to the Europeans, this could have solved the reception problem, since after all, Starforce 3 was amazing. This just goes to show that Capcom doesn't give a crap about their fans, but only about making money. At least thats what I think.

Geo might be content now that he's found his father after so long... but evil never sleeps! When Geo and his friends go on a vacation during the summer, a master thief known only as "The Ripper" goes on a rampage throughout Echo Ridge and the surrounding towns! It seems like no area is safe from his string of crimes. Unfortunately, due to the recent Wave Road update that happens between Star Force games (because it's just a COINCIDENCE your EM device changes out each time, right?), Geo is unable to quickly return home to stop The Ripper and has to wait until vacation is over. What will happen to Echo Ridge while our hero is away at the beach?ACID ACE TASK FORCETake command as WAZA's best man in the field, Andrew "Ace" Eos, as you lead an army of WAZA's toughest troops and defend the town from enemy attacks. Summon soldiers to assist you in battles against massive swarms of enemy viruses! Send "squads" of your finest troops to handle certain missions and sidequests for you! Receive "Wizard Parts" from Geo and his friends in the mail, and use them to adjust Acid's abilities to your liking! Customize your own officer, tweak his or her AI and battle style, and outfit them with a Card Folder! Trade your custom apprentice through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to help a friend in battle, or watch two programmed soldiers duke it out in Auto Wave Battles!
Looking at the topic name (sorry to digress), the most probable reason there's no Starforce topic is probably because there's nothing worth talking about. Starforce 1 sucked, Starforce 2 was okay, so the only reason to talk about would be 3. Also, the series ended faster than people expected.Quote from: "SmashBroPlusB"Geo might be content now that he's found his father after so long... but evil never sleeps! When Geo and his friends go on a vacation during the summer, a master thief known only as "The stRipper" goes on a rampage throughout Echo Ridge and the surrounding towns!
