There's no more StarForces. WHY!?
« Reply #16 on: December 07, 2011, 09:46:16 PM »
OMFG WHY DID THEY STOP!? Many people loved those games (which means more money for them), so I really don't see the point in stopping it.

Btw, I agree 100% with Sora. Starforce 1 (Sorry to those who liked it) just plain sucked to me. Honestly, it was way too easy, the powerful cards were too easy to get, and the special in-battle element (noise form MMSF3, style change MMBN3, crosses MMBN6 for example) was freaking useless. It appeared as a random card among your other 30, so you couldn't strategically activate it, the uniqueness of it was about a 4 out of 10, that big attack being the lifesaver (I don't remember what it was called or how you got it; its been awhile). Starforce 2 was pretty good. I loved how they replaced Bass with SOMEONE; it should've come sooner. They did a great job with Solo/Rogue's personality. However, the final boss was dissappointing.....again. When you hear "final boss" and "MMBN", you think, "O crap, it's gonna be Alpha difficulty. This could take awhile." When you hear "final boss" and "MMSF", you think "Pssshhhh....this should be easy." Personally, I found all three final bosses in MMSF pretty easy, Crimson Dragon being the hardest. This brings me to MMSF3. The special in-battle element was off the charts. It was THE BEST out of all the Starforces and MMBNs. The noise form variety, a charge attack AND Big Bang (THAT'S what it was called) for each noise form, it was awesome. But the best part had to be the Black Ace/Red Joker form. And they made it hard to get. 300% noise at least isn't something you get every time you fight a virus. But it was rewarding, especially the Big Bang: Black End Galaxy and Red Gaia Eraser. I found it really creative that you have to finish the boss with your big bang. Capcom did great for MMSF3. The one thing I'd have against it is that the gigacards were again a little too easy to get, but if you haven't played it, you're missing out. *looks at what's been typed*....I did it again, didn't I?

This. I just ABSOLOUTELY HATE IT when us UK people get shafted out of games just because of where we live. We never got Mega Man 6 (outside of ROMs, of course) and the Anniversery Collections. Why? I have absolutely no idea. This is stupid. What do they have against us?

I don't know about you but this No Export For You crap has got to stop. Full stop.

On a side note: I've never played any of the Star Force games, but I do have the Star Force anime on DVD.

Not only the UK gets f'ed in the A.
The rest of europe doesnt get the love they deserve aswell.
I live in one of the smallest country's in europe. Capcom doesnt give a damn.

Also... Back on real topic.
If you would make a sequal to starfoce, How would it work and what would it be about.

Personally i would love to see soul union style things like in MMBN6.
Giving you a few choices of which (3) styles you want.
Combining the friend system that is in the game could be awesome for this. Getting you to change into the 3 chozen styles of your friends. (or the most used one of that friend)

The story would be awesome if it would be about the "crafted" EM beings that were in starforce 3.
More would be created by the new evil organisation. (maybe even some old evil characters could return as the new main baddies)

Geo might be content now that he's found his father after so long... but evil never sleeps!

When Geo and his friends go on a vacation during the summer, a master thief known only as "The Ripper" goes on a rampage throughout Echo Ridge and the surrounding towns! It seems like no area is safe from his string of crimes. Unfortunately, due to the recent Wave Road update that happens between Star Force games (because it's just a COINCIDENCE your EM device changes out each time, right?), Geo is unable to quickly return home to stop The Ripper and has to wait until vacation is over. What will happen to Echo Ridge while our hero is away at the beach?

ACID ACE TASK FORCE

Take command as WAZA's best man in the field, Andrew "Ace" Eos, as you lead an army of WAZA's toughest troops and defend the town from enemy attacks. Summon soldiers to assist you in battles against massive swarms of enemy viruses! Send "squads" of your finest troops to handle certain missions and sidequests for you! Receive "Wizard Parts" from Geo and his friends in the mail, and use them to adjust Acid's abilities to your liking! Customize your own officer, tweak his or her AI and battle style, and outfit them with a Card Folder! Trade your custom apprentice through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to help a friend in battle, or watch two programmed soldiers duke it out in Auto Wave Battles!

Looking at the topic name (sorry to digress), the most probable reason there's no Starforce topic is probably because there's nothing worth talking about. Starforce 1 sucked, Starforce 2 was okay, so the only reason to talk about would be 3. Also, the series ended faster than people expected.

Was Joker the good guy in Red Joker? If so, that may confuse people that only played Red Joker. That still sounds pretty awesome. Maybe you could go berserk into Acid Arrest mode like in SF3 if too much noise accumulates in a battle. (Kinda like Black Ace/Red Joker) But instead of losing control, you'd have the Aceprgm (Jokerprgm) to control it.

I see. I haven't played Red Joker, and it's been a very long time since I played Starforce 3, anyway.

Forgive the minor bump

I've been playing Black Ace, and so far:

-I've gotten loads of mega cards from bosses I've never seen before
-I saved Luna's hankerchief, I assume this doesn't change anything at all, though
-Encountered Club Strong Omega and got destroyed
-Recieved my first noise right now: Gemini Noise!

It's definitely better than SF2 so far.

^ 3 was the best one.
Which item you get has no baring on the story at all minus the scene afterwards, if you get Luna's Sonia is mad, if you get Sonia's Luna is mad, if you get Bud's BOTH are mad (and eatting angrily) and you get a scene where Bud wave changes and explains how he is going to try his best to help Geo (this one is the funniest due to the girls being mad).
I started on 2 Shinobi then get Black Ace, recently got Dragon.

I main Ophiuca and my back up is Torus (which I have an Ophiuca opponent just for using with, can you say +50 to all fire moves with a charge that makes Grass Panels?  ).
