... in all seriousness, though, this is actually very nice. The artwork is of great quality, and the style makes me feel like I dived into one of the official Complete Works collections. If there was an English one (like the game) this would be absolutely perfect.

Oh geez I love this game!  :D  
I beat all of the Robot Masters, but Dr. Mad's fortress is freaking evil to me.  :|
Especially those twin silver and gold robots in the first stage.
I HATE THEM. >:O
But the game is surprisingly well made. I wish I were as good at making games as the maker of this. :O
