Speaking of awesome Mario crossovers, ever hear about Mari0. It is SMB but with a portal gun. It is very far in development.

I'm still not sure what Ninja Gaiden game HaggleMan is from, or who Demon (a skin for Mario) even is.
"Robot Ninja Haggle Man" from Retro Game Challenge/Game Center CX: Arino's Challenge on the Nintendo DS.  His game is a bit like Mr. Goemon meet Mappy, actually...

Just looked it up. Apparently, Retro Game Challenge was never released in the UK.

ARGH!

Which was why I had no idea who HaggleMan was! I thought he was from some Ninja Gaiden game because he was a skin for Ryu.

Sigh...

If it makes you feel any better, US never got the 2nd game localized : (

Love the show, too bad the games were not distributed widely outside of Japan.

Just looked at the sequel's game list on Wikipedia, and two of them were called "Demon Returns" and "Super Demon Returns". Maybe that's where the Demon skin for Mario comes from?

EDIT: The new update is now live, and you can now play it from the link in the first post. Have fun!

Ah yes, my last post was like two weeks ago, before the invisible skin came out. I... didn't want to double post in a row.

Also, there's been some talk of adding in The Lost Levels, and what problems it's presenting to the characters. I'm surprised they haven't mentioned World 3-4 yet, where one of the correct paths requires you to run through a one block high gap, which Simon, Bass, Ryu and Samus without her Morph Ball upgrade cannot do.

You know something?  Playing as almost any character except Mario makes the game feel and play almost exactly like its respective game.  I got a real thrill out of driving around as SOPHIA III and blasting enemies with Homing Missiles, or using the Wave Beam on enemies with Samus.  Bill is way overpowered with his Spread Gun, but it's definitely helpful for unlocking certain Cheats.  Playing as Bass was pretty fun, too!  Playing as Mega Man?  Not as much.  Thanks to his increased jump height, he loses a bit of the nostalgia value.  It also severely hurts his and Bass' playability that they can't slide under 1-block spaces. (Not so much as I've seen, anyway.)

As for Ryu Hayabusa?  He seriously needs some work.  He a bit underpowered compared to almost everyone else, his wall-grabbing skills slightly hinder you at times, and he doesn't swing his sword fast enough when compared to the original games.

All and all, a great improvement to an already fun game!  I can't wait until Adobe releases their update to Flash that makes C++ coding work better.  It'd be nice to play the game with Super NES music without the game slowing to a crawl.  Hell, even the NES music slows it a bit, and my computer isn't exactly ancient...

Playing as Bass Dr. Wily is the best. They did manage to capture everything accurately and I love the game, especially some of the bonuses like skins and different graphics.

They did mix up Dive Missile and Hard Knuckle, though.

Edit, forgive me. It appears that Mega/Proto get Hard Knuckle, and Dr. Wily (unsure on Bass) gets Dive Missile which acts exactly the same as Hard Knuckle. I understand the swaps such as Water Shield > Skull Barrier, but that one just seems unnecessary.

Bass does get a form of Hard Knuckle. It wouldn't make sense if Dr. Wily launched his own fist (considering he's human, unless it's a robot substitute like in Mega Man 3) so they changed his into a missile.

Bonus fact: His Water Shield consists of skulls, ala Skull Barrier.

Although it's already been reported on their fourms.

I most definitely batted an eye when I saw that credits list.  I was totally unaware that Blaster Master: Blasting Again, a Playstation game which I personally reviewed myself, was released on the Nintendo!  Any Nintendo!  You learn something new everyday!!  Is this post dripping with enough sarcasm?  :o

Also, I like to think of Dr. Wily's variants as "Photon Torpedo" (despite the fact Photon Torpedo can't be nudged up or down) and "Skull Shield" (since Skull Barrier is a completely different weapon entirely).
