Ive been in a heavy depression myself once.
I eventually just decided to stop being depressed.
It may sound cliche but you should try to let happy feelings get to you from everything you enjoy.
Like when drinking a cup of coffee and you really think it tastes good ^^

I'm probably one of the most hated members here, but that's probably my mind acting up because it's getting bored.

Some guy that has random interests that change over time (currently armadillos). I like fun and challenge (but not stupidness challenge). I think purple is a pro colour, which is why I use it a lot. My favourite number is 712 and I don't really know why. I'm on a forum diet at the moment, which is why I haven't been posting so much. I also have a stupid name which is misleading and it makes people unintentionally hurt my feelings.

I describe myself as a completely human. I have things done, things to do and things that I know I won't ever do, yet I still try.
However, I've passed though awful, ugly and sad situations on my life that I learned how to assess things, probably a lot more than most of you. I've considered every moment of my life, specially my childhood, and how I wasted my time in the most useless  and silly things, yet I'm still here. I like when I see though my windows, and watch the beautiful landscape around me. I even like to read books that when I was young hated or else ignored.
See, if you guys are still depressed and pessimistic like that, I would like to take some of these seconds of your life for myself. Not because I'm a greedy person, but to let you know that there are persons around you THAT really wants to live life, unlike you. Have you ever considered how a complete person you are? Without any illness, deformation, missing organ? I'm truly unhappy to see that you guys consider friendship as a better goal than just being yourself, what YOU are.

I'm still a bit sad but I've started thinking positively about my life.

I still feel piss poor about myself though. It's something I've never been able to fix, my self-esteem.

I need help, but I'll try to stay cheerful.
