"Nido" is some Mii Smashbro made that apparently looks like Nidoqueen.
Spoilers: It doesn't.

tl;dr: The name was generated by a random spur-of-the-moment type deal, and it seemingly stuck from there as an in-joke with my friends. Nidoqueen has no relationship to actual cerulean dinosaurs besides the name, and I didn't mean to make it seem that way.

okay that was bad FUCK MY LIFE'S BACKSTORY now it's time to ask you guys things

I was comparing the sizes of the sprites I had made, and I realized how gigantic the enemies were in comparison to the player and attack sprites. I didn't want to "smush" the enemy sprites but I didn't want to blatantly over-engorge the other sprites either, so I used a 2-to-3 ratio in sprite sizes. I think it's hardly noticeable but I'd like some feedback.

Here's a mockup screen using the 2-to-3 size ratio.

I'll be blunt. It looks like crap. Get your sizes correct.

Yeah, kind of figured that. Oh well, I guess it's unavoidable.

Or you could resprite. It won't be that hard, it's only a single frame.

That's what I meant... I was hoping to get out of re-doing that blasted plane but it turned out "unavoidable".

I should REALLY remember to make myself sound a lot clearer when I'm on the internet.

I finally got to play it and it was pretty decent and fun. P:

I also see why it's called Bullet Hell.

I've been wondering, does your class use the full version of Game Maker or Game Maker Lite?

Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff....hahahahahaha!
This is NOTHING. The only thing that makes it difficult is the wonky hitboxes. Once those get fixed, it'll be a piece of cake!

It's also not a "true" bullet hell because it's not impossibly hard; rather, the game might bore veterans of the series but it's good for a first-time player of the genre.
It's meant to have an easily grasp-able learning curve for people who suck at Bullet Hell. Don't worry, Stage 4 will make Jman a little happier.
