I also just got the game. I'm already on Chapter 15, With the Twinbellows Cannon, Crusader's Blade, and Tiger Claws being my favorite weapons in the game. If anyone wants to do an Online Match, I'll exchange 3DS Codes with you.

So I just did my first Light VS Dark battle.
I had a first place lead of 1300 something, and the closet was around 600.
I didn't see it coming.

Meanwhile Dark Pit has the best theme song ever.

If anyone wants to swap 3DS Friend Codes, I'll gladly do a Free-for-all Or Light VS. Dark battle with them. I've been itching to play together mode, but I was waiting until I finished the main story.

So I overplayed this game and I just beat the solo.
Sure I never turned the difficulty that high in my first run, but I'm going to turn it up as I get better.

I hate myself. I forged my Beam Claws to get something else.
But now I really miss my Beam Claws and I can't find anymore.

Just keep forging random weapons until you get them again. I can forge them right now with my Fortune Bow and Darkness bow.

travis. its not op. the power is dependant on the amount of melee/range stars the wep has. yours prob has 6, the max number. that weapon is actually quite weak for me too, even at 6.. (im so used to my gaol blade that everything is weak XD)

Actually it only has 5, one being a "In Peril Attack Bonus -4" which isn't a Bonus, It's a Hindrance.

But aside from that, Just tried boss rush. Medusa kicked my rear end from Skyworld and back.

Sooooo, I've developed this trend where I've been making multiple copies of my favorite weapons just to try them out in different scenarios. I've got about 3 Skyscraper Clubs now, and 3 of a spoiler weapon:

The Viridi Palm. I can't help it, it's a cute palm. I like firing hearts at everyone~

Also, through random play online, I've grown really really fond of the gimmicky powers given to you throughout the game. They serve next to no purpose in solo mode, but in multiplayer battles, they are so amazingly fun to use. I can't really make a power set anymore online without equipping myself with these certain powers:

Jump Glide, Rocket Jump, Angelic Missile, and Super Speed. Jump Glide has proven to be useful in some cases where I can just float down into a clusterfuck from a distance, or jump around with ease in that arena with the four platforms in the sky. Rocket Jump can be a really nice surprise to use against people sometimes. Angelic Missile has saved me countless times and it's a surprisingly effective power! Being able to launch yourself at super speed away from an area, do decent damage to an opponent when they don't expect it, and it looks really damn ridiculous. Super Speed is even more hilarious, ramping up your speed to uncontrollable levels, only to bulldoze anyone you touch, it's the best.

Oh, I also love the Random power up. I know it's totally unreliable, obviously, but I like taking my chances with it. It's been pretty nice to me during solo mode actually.

So whats the strongest weapons you guys have?
My strongest weapon is
Dark Pit Staff with 5 1/2 stars in range and 3 1/2 in melee. It also has Health +1, Running Speed +2,
Standing Charge Shot+1, Melee Combo +1, Heart Bonus +1, Self-injury -3 and is worth 274.
But I suck with staffs in multiplayer so this is Solo Mode only.
