The battle of the battles is about to start. Pit's Three Sacred Treasures reference Saint Seiya. Complete bullet hell makes everybody think about the girl-filled Touhou series. Palutena brings Pit's most painful Underworld memories from his 8-bit days. Dark Pit joins the fray by fighting, gasp, alongside Pit. Some random mecha shows up and proceeds to kick Pit's sorry butt. Dark Pit proves his badassness by lethally kicking said mecha with a OHKO. Palutena informs all players that face-kicking won't work for them, though.
Anyone else prefer Team Battle over Free For All in multiplayer? Recently I've been getting more and more pissed off with the Free For All mode because like Smash Bros, people seem to of fallen into incredibly specific, incredibly annoying playsets that get used almost every single battle. I can't go through a single Free For All without being put into a black hole, or have to deal with multiple people using clubs. I also seem to of not figured out how to melee properly, as almost every time I get thrown into a countering battle, I always end up losing the standoff, no matter who the opponent seems to be, and no matter what weapon they seem to have. With team battle, I at least know that every gun on the field isn't completely focused on me, and the pacing is a lot more comfortable for both sides.I really don't think I should play Free-For-All ever again. There's little pressure to losing a game since your losses aren't recorded, but it's feels pretty crappy to lose over and over again, regardless of how good or bad I play.
Am I the only person who hates Idol Transformation? If you could see if you were close to wearing an enemy down, then I'd like it a bit more. At least give them a health bar. :/
