Probably not.  As I was expecting, since I've come home for the summer and have spent more time away from the computer, my interest in cutstuff is rapidly plummeting.

Well, people can keep posing submissions here.  I just didn't think there was enough interest but if people really want it, but maybe I'll make another pack.  Maybe.

Just thought I would say. The Mush07 is the x4 boss music not x5.

Blah, I know I had fixed that at some point but I must have been distracted before I saved the edit.  Thanks.

and if its a program where can I download it?

FTX, you really don't have to jump onto every single bump made, regardless of whatever was actually in the post. So long as the bump is relevant to the topic at hand, bumping a topic is fine.

To answer afsonic's question, the only program I know that helps to create authentic NES styled music is Famitracker. I personally use it all the time to create covers of stuff, though it does have a steep learning curve and it requires manual labor and practice.

You can find it at http://www.famitracker.com, and I'd recommend listening to some of danooct's tutorials beforehand so that you're not entirely stumped.

While this topic is alive, would anybody be interested in a sequel to this? I've created a considerable number of covers since this was released, and I'm sure others like ThatGuy74 could potentially be interested in placing some tracks of their own in.

Seconded. I've been doing quite a lot boredom-induced VRC6 covers myself, and I've been considering releasing them in a pack for some time now. If there's not enough interest, then whatever, but I'm sure someone would love to pick this up as their own project if Mr. X doesn't want to continue.

Considering Mr. X is practically gone, someone probably will have to pick this up to continue it.

Can't say they'll be any good though

I wouldn't mind putting some of my songs in a volume 2 of this.

... In that case, hey, I wouldn't mind taking this on and starting CutTunes up again. It's not like I'm doing anything else in this community, so why not.

Fair enough. I'll get working on getting something out. (I'd do a theme from one of the Bond movies, but I already have a music pack for that, so...)

I'd love to try my hand at something new. I've never made 8-bit music, but I know enough about the structure of music that I could probably take existing tracks and transfer them into 8-bit. I'm not sure what I'd specifically convert, but I'm sure I can do something.
