Seeing as you're a contestant, I doubt that matters.

Something's wrong with the Mediafire link. I can't seem to download from it.

EDIT: I finally managed to download it, but dang, I had to battle for it.

EDIT 2: Wow, Sky Castle looked beautiful, but those fans were tricky to figure out.

CTFC01 - Tunnel Network - Solid map, good weapon choices, floor to floor action is good. Only complaint is I wish it wasn't an underwater base cause we have like 3 of those rolling around now!

Derp. If you count the older versions of that map we would have 5 Underwater bases rolling around.  :ugeek:

Also the purpose of that map was to be made and never be played and left in the rubbish TBG pack.

Okay, so the Rain Flush thing may have cost me the competiton (I knew there was something bothering me when I submitted to Ivory) which means that several days of my masterpiece work is about to go down the drain, but I picked a few issues with a few other maps:

Tunnel Network: I get massive FPS drops whenever I add bots, making it unplayable for me.
Lost Temple: Again, I get FPS drops whenever I add bots, making it unplayable.
{Redacted}'s CTF entry: It would be a lot better if the path was clear on one side and full of Turbo Roaders on the other side.
Sky Castle: I found some texture offset errors, and the fans are a bit wonky to work with, but if you add "Block Monsters" to the edges, it will stop the bots from falling to their deaths.
Crystal Crater: Like Tunnel Network and Lost Temple, I suffer from FPS drops when I add bots.

Simply swap out rain flush for a more suitable weapon, and it's a good CTF map. Depends on how people vote I guess!

It's... too late to change it now.

Also, I found something else with these maps:

Also, one final thing with Lost Temple:

Depends on whether you made it to win the competition or make a good playable CTF map. I can safely say NONE of these maps will make it into the official build without some changes  ;)

The original CTF maps did not have Yashichis, but I think some of the later official ones may have, so I guess it's up to you.

I wasn't able to make it for the judging last night, but everyone's maps are definitely very cool!  The level and quality of work that went into each of them was really amazing!  The Sky Castle and Crystal Crater maps were probably my favorites of the group.  Sorry my map turned out kind of unprofessional, though.  I guess it never crossed my mind to make up a title for it!  I agree with everyone's criticisms, too.  It would need a LOT of polish and probably heavy modifications to be MM8BDM material.  :p

I found them too but you didn't find the many errors in Tunnel Network  :ugeek:

Just to let everyone know, due to all the hectic gameplay that occurred last night, there will be a change in how the system will be ran.

Judges and Competitors will be playing first. There will be no public allowed and we'll go through the maps on our own. After we do a round of that, then I will release the wad to the public to join in and play. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How would we be able to change the maps up again? I was thinking for my map we replace the Silver Tomahawk with Rain Flush and replace the Rain Flushes in the bases with either Gemini Laser or Crystal Eye.

Ah yes, someone mentioned to me that there were quite a few texture issues in Sky Castle and some other maps. I thought she was just being picky but then I turned software mode on, and yeah there's quite a few! Always best to test your maps in both renderers (it's okay, I forget too).
