Truly good games Smunch. I enjoyed them, more than most matches I've ever fought in. And indeed folks, the best Brawler won the night.

I didn't even know about a brawl tournament until I heard about the finals.

I would love to play more, get on that second tourney.  I got all sorts of other characters I like to play as, and I'd like to see a bigger chunk of the community involved.

I'd do this again because the random generator was such a bitch to me last time. Come on, HD, have some sympathy- DK against Ness? Couldn't you at least change it so I had a sliver of a chance at winning?

I'd totally do Ness again.

How does DK have an advantage over Ness? Ness has projectiles and powerful far ranged attacks.

You're not spamming PK fire enough.

Ness> Powerful psi moves for range.
DK> lacks range.
DK> Big target.
Ness> Pk thunder charge when enemy is at high damage.
DK= killed.
You could have done hit and run, or keep away.

It was impossible to pin him down. He was being so fucking annoying with his freaking side attacks that I spent too much time in the air for me to land any attacks. I couldn't do anything because he kept running at me and jumping over all my PKs.

Maybe I should do Wario instead.

That was my main problem- I couldn't do damage to him in the first place. It doesn't help that most of Ness' attacks leave him wide open if people dodge them.
