I'm currently in my Crystal run. I actually writing the commentary and making screenshots in private, until I feel like posting it. Just one warning it may not be so funny, that you'd guys kill me.
Planning to post the parts when I feel like it.

I am not really familiar with increasing a Pokemon's happiness that well w/o the use of items. Am I supposed to just battle with it or constantly walk back and forth to make it happy? Budew was already past the level in which Roselia learns Giga Drain. The most I could've done for him was a synergist/saboteur combo, like Toxic/Toxic Spikes and Aromatherapy/Synthesis. Buneary's only non-Normal type move being Low Kick and Bounce I'm not really favoring. Unfortunately, it's too late for Budew because I forgot about freaking Jupiter. Had he not have sacrificed himself or her Skuntank not act stupid, I would've been dead. Left Buneary and Haunter with critical health.

It's been a while since I updated this.
(click to show/hide)
So let's just load up the game and get star-
Seems legit.
Youngster Joey Count: 9
Whatever, we got a new route.
Was I supposed to do this before Whitney?
Yeah, not really a tough choice here...
It only took the whole route, but I found some grass.
Oh that's kinda cool, I don't have a place for it yet on my team.
but it might be good to keep around, just in case.
And another new area!
Yeah, I'll pass.
But some good things come out of it.
Yet another new route!
That's kinda cool, even though I already have Red.
and then Roar happened.
I forgot the squirt bottle.
kthat'sbetter
So I think this guy is on Route 36, so I killed him because I already ran into a Growlithe.
'
I still decided to see if I could find something on Route 37
But if the tree was on Route 37, it doesn't matter. The jerk ate almost all my Pokeballs before I decided to cut my losses and just defeat it.
and a town, I guess we should do this theater thing first.
I did the theater thing. I was too lazy to actually take screenshots though. Nothing really exciting happened.
Now if I remember correctly, I think you fight Labada in here.
Yep
Probably should have stopped at the Pokemon Center after the theater.
Because critical hits are frighting.
And this is why Beed is a pro
That wasn't too bad, I didn't really have anything good against his last pokemon, so I just used Sora and luckily it worked.
Anyway, here's a team shot. See you all later.

I suppose I'll bump this
POKEMON : CONFUSION EDITION
(click to show/hide)
Also known as Fire Red in some countries!
Hello I'm a man.
HAHA I never get tired of this name!
Sorry my imagination fell off.
Let's just follow this old guy to his house...
Who doesn't?
I REGRET NOTHING
nothing
EVERYONE FORGETS MY NAME
WHAT IF MY NAME
IS ACTUALLY "UH, YOU"
The start of the game is never interesting

Sorry for the bump, but it is necessary. Freeman, HD, Gumballtoid and I are all going to be doing different Nuzlockes of different games.
Freeman is doing FireRed
HD is doing Emerald
Gumballtoid is doing Black 1
I'm doing HeartGold

Since I haven't actually done a Nuzlocke before, a special rule I'll add for my run is Pokemon defeated in Triple/Rotation battles are not killed. Instead, if one is defeated, I stop what I'm doing and return to the Pokemon Center to heal them, then return to what I was doing.
Probably cheap as hell but otherwise I'd have not a shot.
EDIT: Did a practice run up to Striaton City and the Dreamyard.

I finally beat my Nuzlocke of Pokemon Yellow at long last. The elite four was BRUTAL. too bad EXCEPT LORELEI UHGFRWHGIURWHG I HAD 2 POKEMON KILLED.
Against Lorelei, Smashbro the Nidoqueen died at level 53
Against Agatha, Lobsters the Venusaur died at level 49.
So when I got to champion blue, I held out extremely well. That is until he got to Vaporeon.
HIS LEVEL 65 VAPOREON KILLED:
MegaSlave the Pidgeotto at level 31
Gumballtoid the Blastoise at level 50
Donutyoshi the Snorlax at level 51
And finally, through some freak luck, DAVERIS THE HITMONCHAN AT LEVEL 43, KILLED IT WITH A CRITICAL HIT WITH THUNDERPUNCH.
FINAL PARTY:
Daveris the Hitmonchan: Level 44
Nuzlocke: Completed

Ironically, this was following my tarnishing of Daveris' name by using the aptly named Lillipup as a meatshield.

It always sucks to lose any Pokemon to the Elite Four, but losing that many must've felt awful.

Gumballtoid, be as careful as humanly possible.
That was the situation I began in before wiping, and I'd really hate the same to happen to you.
HD and Freeman seem to be on the ball though so
