I was completely unaware that KH 3D had a secret boss and more things to do after endgame.

Huh.......

Anyways, I'm getting KH 1.5 HD Remix soon and I'm pretty hyped for it. Soo glad it's only $29.99, especially since I haven't used my PS3 in forever and that I'll be able to play Chain of Memories again after such a long time ~

at least re:coded was playable (probably). kh3d was a clusterfuck of bad gameplay mechanics, repetitive world scenarios, and generic enemy bosses.

Yeah, I have to admit the boss battles and worlds in KH 3D were kinda boring. :/

KH 1.5 arrived earlier in the mail today and I can't wait to get further in it~

Re:Coded will still be the worst KH for me (and it's still not that bad a game).  The worlds were mostly repeats of their counterparts in KH 1 with the exception of Castle Oblivion/Cyberworld silliness at the end.  It felt so boring that it's to this date the only Kingdom Hearts game I have no desire to replay.

KH 3D on the other hand at least tried to branch out in directions the series hadn't gone in.  The Dream Eaters were extremely customizable and innovative, and while they could never outdo Donald and Goofy, I loved the designs and unique strategies they brought.  And while the jumping off of almost any surface was pretty unreliable and clunky, it felt so fun to use to get around.  If they could fine-tune it for KH 3 I would be so happy~

So yeah, long story short, I really don't think KH 3D deserves all the negativity it gets.

I didn't even find the flow motion (I think it was called) clunky, I thought it was smooth. It made getting around and fighting really easy, too. Actually, that's my only issue with flow motion. Flow motion sometimes allow you to become an OP being of mass destruction that none can stop. Just keep bouncing on a wall and perform special attacks to sweep the floor of all enemies. In other KH games, the enemies at least felt like somewhat of a threat. In KH:3D, only the bosses took even a little effort when using flow motion. If they do bring it back, they should make it extremely limited so this doesn't happen. With normal keyblading, the enemies are decent enough to have a fair fight with.

KH3D is my 2nd favorite Kingdom Hearts game, though. Does it really get so much negativity?

Daily reminder that you didn't even play half of the game.

The literal only thing I don't like about the game is that the Balloon line of spells are broken as all hell

It actually runs really smoothly compared to the entries on DS. Just be thankful that the 3DS has the circle pad so the standard KH battle style can be fully implemented with slight changes.

In fact, this entry is the closest one to the PS2 entries out of all the Nintendo system entries in terms of gameplay.
