Favourite NetNavi counterpart?
« on: June 14, 2010, 01:15:46 PM »
I've never touched the .exe series but it has some interesting redesigns of the robot masters. Post your favourite here. I'm still going through them so I'll post mine at some point in the future. I definitely think they could have done better with Cutman's. Some look more badass, some look more cutsey fartsy and some are just WTF. Especially CHARGEMAN

Shadowman.EXE. I already said Shadowman was my favorite robot master, and his redesign just makes him look cooler and even more ninja-like. I really love the scarf.

I defiently like NapalmMan.EXE the most, He looks totally badass! GyroMan.EXE wins points for looking like a transformer, and I liked JunkMan.EXE alot too!

My favourite NetNavi is SharkMan.EXE, but he doesn't have a classic series counterpart. (unless you count Megaman DOS, the "star wars christmas special" of the series.)

Searchman.exe. I thought it was a huge improvement over the original design.

NapalmMan and ShadowMan for sure are some of the coolest. I like GateMan a ton, but no Classic counterpart so doesn't count...ElecMan disappointments me greatly...

SkullMan wins!!

Torch Man.EXE (Or Fire Man.EXE)
Why:DAMN,he was a total Badass in the Manga, well to me he was

and overall it mixes Fire Man's Original Design with some new overall Mixes...

Pfft... Always hated how they replaced the original names in the anime with rediculous ones (Wacko Man? Japan Man?!...)

But besides that, I liked the re-design on Magnet Man and of course Tengu Man. Tengu Man's the most since it actually makes him look like a Dai Tengu in mythology than some android with a long nose and a jet pack like his classic counterpart.

I always thought they made protoman a double badass.

But I guess for villains plantman was pretty sweet.

They Did That Because Of Things Like:
Torchman's episode airing after 9/11
ColorMan.exe Might have controversial issues
Kids Might not Know What Yamato or napalm Mean
Though...SAVAGEMAN? Or Vineman? WHY?!

Obviously, Bass.exe is the coolest of the cool.
Other than that, Shadowman.exe is a big improvement.
Quickman.exe was great.
Heatman.exe looks psychotic, in a good way. This also applies to Drillman.exe.
Plantman.exe looked a lot better.

Normally I don't care much for battlenetwork/.exe but I have to say, I liked SearchMan.exe way more then the two headed classic search man.
