Haven't played through any of the games successfully but I do quite like what they did with Magnet Man. Before he was an unremarkable robot with a magnet strapped to his head, but now he's a huge, hulking dude with a magnet FOR a head AND a torso! They really did a lot more with his concept design-wise, and I think he's significantly better than the original.

If we're counting the X series, I'd say Colonel.EXE is pretty dang awesome.

Search Man.exe.  He blows the stupid classic series one out of the water.  Tomahawk Man is a close 2nd.

My favourite NetNavi is Roll.exe and I don't feel bad about it.

Other favourites are Bass.exe (op in an awesome way) and Zero.exe

As for Somethingman.exe, I don't really know. I need more time to decide.

I really like the outlandish designs that wouldn't be possible in the classic series, like Heatman.exe, Swordman.exe, Snakeman.exe and Planetman.exe (totally Astro Man's counterpart)

Some designs I really question though, especially pharaohman.exe. All his awesomeness is locked in a coffin!
Same with counterparts who were hardly changed, like Japanman YamatoMan.exe and Airman.exe

I'm a pretty big fan of most of the designs. I quite like Tomahawkman, Elecman, Tenguman, Flashman, Brightman, Starman, Skullman, Toadman, Napalmman, and Colonel.

My personal favorite NetNavi is LaserMan.exe

He needs a classic series counterpart.

I'm tempted to say that my favourite somethingman.exe navi is Drillman.exe

Not sure why, but there's something about the fight that they did a really good job with. Hard to say what exactly it is.
