Freshman year: Easy, but everyone treats you like a little kid.
Sophomore year: Hard only if taking ap classes.
Junior year: college crap comes up, so you have to work really hard.
Senior year: Easy, but the wait for graduation is unbearable.
Overall high school experience: senseless teen drama that's even worse than what you see in this community. I didn't like it at all.

You people and your 7 period schedules. I've got an 11 period schedule that runs until 3:30 thanks to our school requiring 4 years of theology.

Also get to take Fine Arts, P.E., AND Speech this year.

Damn, this year will probably suck.

Seriously? You get TEACHER'S ASSISTANT?!?! I didn't get that in 8th Grade (I'm in 9th now). And do you not do any Algebra in 8th Grade? I finished Algebra 1 and did half of Analytic Geometry (this was collectively known as Accelerated Math 1).
Anyway... (in the following list, "Magnet" is slightly harder than Honors but still gives you a GPA out of 4.5 weighted)

Semester 1-
Magnet Chemistry
Spanish II
Honors 9th Literature
Magnet Foundations (basically Photoshop, Flash, etc.)

Semester 2-
Magnet Biology
Accelerated Math 2 (second half of Analytic Geometry and completion of Algebra 2)
Spanish III
AP Human Geography

Llama, don't you have any prerequisites for AP Computer Programming? We have to do like 4 other courses first.

I did Programming in Java last year, which just required I pass Algebra 2.

Since the planning in our county is bizarre, I took Geometry as a Freshmen and Algebra 2 as an 8th grader.

Programming in Java was a lot of fun (though really easy) so I figured I'd just take it to the next level, even if it does have the tag "AP" slapped on it.

Really? I've only done some C++ going into High School. Am I really that behind?

this is why I fucking hated my High school.

Computer Science? AP? In high school? You lucky bastard! My school only offered a programming class that got dropped due to the sad fact that nobody except me signed up for it.

Nah, I've done QBasic 2-3 years ago.
And I remember none of it.

The thinking of whatever coding I do know I give thanks to WarioWare DIY on that one.
It made things easy to understand without much hassle.
Although that technically isn't coding; rather, it's some form of scripting with IFS/THENS/WHENS/you get the point.
Also I have Petit Computer on my 3ds for any coding desires/attempts to learn some sort of language. I call it the source of all headaches But now I'm just too far off topic so weee.

I am moving to Illinois for a Master's Program in Clinical Psychology and am starting a job where I teach vocational skills to mentally retarded adults.

It sounds REALLY challenging, and people never do it for more than a few years. We're talking skills, arguments, bowel movements, getting bitten, anything can and will happen. But, teaching experience, so...

EDIT: Plus they're paying for my tuition + $8.50 an hour. That helps.

I should be asleep right now but due to alarm clock malfunctions I couldn't reset my sleep schedule so I'm wide awake five hours from mission launch

Not too terribly stressed, though I never did my precalc summer work and that's freaking me out
As it turns out I could have taken JAVA last year because I took Algebra in middle school but that was written in fine print and it slipped over my head.
Oh, but I get to take writing for college.  This is a blessing, and a curse, considering the fact that if I'm writing about a topic shoved down my goddamn throat I can't give any detail because it's stuck in my throat
But, yeah.  Looking forward to at least having some motivation to get off my ass and make the computer fun again.
