I started on Tuesday as a junior. My only AP course is Calculus (but there's also Honors English still shouldn't be a problem) but I can't predict the future to see how my year will go, so I guess I'll see.

Freshman.
...
Oddly enough, I find myself not enjoying the company of most others my age.
Such rampant immaturity is borderline intolerable, yet most my age demonstrate this
trait I simply cannot stand.
...
Sophomores and up more commonly display a tolerable level of social awareness.

Junior Year begins for me in a couple weeks!
Also sophomore year is pretty easy and miles better than freshman year.

Going to college as a Sophomore after this weekend, though it probably won't be so bad except maybe the constant work I'll receive in my Calculus class.

My sophomore year was really boring and uneventful. Hopefully, my junior year won't be like that.

About to be a college freshman here.  Is it bad that I'm majoring in chemistry, but I only took 1 chemistry class and that was sophomore year in high school? It also wasn't AP chemistry.

Good thing its at an easy college to pass everything

RPI is easy... Right?  Riiight?

Ahah, actually I'm the one that told him sophomore year is easiest.
Well, no. You were one of them, but I have a few upper-classmen as friends who have said quite nearly the same thing.

Disdain towards students of your age isn't really odd at all, Dave. Most everyone in my class last year, and most likely this year, are intolerable beyond all reason this would be why most of my friends these days are online, whereas I had come off as much more socially-aware to such a degree that many upper-classmen thought I was a Sophomore or even a Junior last year.

I took Honors English II this year, but I really don't see how I managed that since I've nearly failed English more than once before, but I'm not complaining.

I start school in about 2 weeks, I'm excited for school because I've only seen my best friend over the coarse of the summer. I don't have my schedule yet but I know I'll have all advanced classes.

Senior year at a really sh*tty school with all AP classes. I'm glad it's my last year. I want to leave this place. The people in my AP classes are the only people in my town with common sense. Everyone else is like a form of mutant from dead space. I loathed my speech class last year.
This one girl had to give an improv speech over twitter, and didn't even know what it was :S

Good luck to you guys who are starting school. Not in school now, but I used to hate the whole people change thing more than the actual course work (mostly hard work got me through it all).
