New Global Moderators

Hey all you megaman fans!

First, with my departure from Global Moderator to Admin, someone needs to take up the mantle of head global moderator. Korby is now promoted to that position~

Second, With my promotion to being an admin, Korby is now rather alone. Being the sole active global moderator left, I thought it was about time we finally had some new recruits join the Global Mod team.

Such individuals are hard to select. Trying to find someone who is capable of being friendly, yet still capable of dropping the hammer when needed. Someone who can help out the newcomers without growing angry at them for not understanding. Someone who can be capable of listening to both sides of a disagreement and ignoring pride and friendships to remain as neutral as possible. To be someone who would always act with the best intentions in mind and of course, they also need enough time on their hand to dedicate to the community. Being a Global Moderator is no easy job, and it's definitely not something just anyone can do.

Korby and I have spent months thinking about all the possible recruits. And we believe we found two people who are qualified enough to give it a shot.

With no further hesitation, I am pleased to announce the newest members of Cutstuff to take up the mantle of global moderator,

Let's start on a positive note. Congratulations on your modship Sora! I hope you do well at being a moderator.

However, it is time I call something to the attention of this community. This statement right here is the matter in question:

ignoring pride and friendships to remain as neutral as possible

I'm afraid that although this is true for Sora, not so much for LlamaHombre.

Some of you may know about this, for it was not long ago. In fact, it was in the merry merry month of May.

I was just being an average person in the Cutstuff Community Chat on Skype. (Wat IV to be specific) when some people singled me out; a certain group of prideful people: this group included (but is not limited to) LlamaHombre, Kenkoru, Roc's Creation (Tesseractal/Ice-IX), Red (Red Eyes/Lag Man) and thatguy74.

These people often called me derogatory names, such as "Huge Dicks". It was often of great annoyance that I would hang my virtual head in shame and take the abuse like a punching bag.

I have also seen LlamaHombre, this moderator "unaffected by pride" so you say, casually insult others like it was no big deal. He often listens to his friends before actually doing anything, and fights to keep his high status in this community.

And with that, I challenge your promotion of LlamaHombre to global moderator status. I believe it is time that those 10 people with huge egos and shameful bullying tendencies stop ruling the community and preventing others from enjoying it as it should be enjoyed. I may not be the member of highest status in this community, but I believe there are others who will stand by me in this calling out.

Do not ignore those that go against this decision. For the sake of Cutstuff. I do not care of the consequences for posting this, nor the new social status it incurs. The time is now. For revolution.

If this is my final post, then farewell my friends. I hope you all have a pleasant remainder of your life and still keep in touch with me.

I agree, but I don't care.

Others might not care as well.

Something should be done about it, yes, but should this really fall under a moderators's wing?

I am openly agreeing to this, but it's not like things have gotten out of hand yet. They eventually will, but it's not like people care enough to take them seriously...you know, as a pressure group. Despite this, they don't have complete (or any subtantial amount of) control over the online experience of the game, so I'm not so bothered about it.

EDIT: I'm not gonna start judging a fresh-out-of-the-oven moderator's policies (if they're not me, they're not doing a good job :P), but rather pushing out the general message of HD's post: dem CKC

I'm sorry everyone,  

HD, I am very proud that you took a stand for something you think is right, also to discover that people agree.

I have personally witnessed several instances of Llama showing distasteful behavior, and just general rudeness toward other members of the community. I have also witnessed him follow in his friends footsteps in throwing needless insults at people who did nothing to deserve it.

With this, I too, challenge the promotion of LlamaHombre to Global  Moderator.
