Two things.

One, I have very little chance of making the deadline, so I may as well give out my secret.

My map was going to be Pumpkin Hill from Sonic Adventure 2. I was able to get the song and half of the textures for it finished. The wad doesn't exist currently and I was hoping to get it done before Sandy killed me.

If you want the .ftm file, ask Korby.

Two, I do intend on finishing the map someday.

I've never been one to downright abandon things, so while I might be rather late, I do intend on someday finishing the map and releasing it to the public as the second DM map I've ever made.



Sorry to any who were looking forward to this, and I'll still try to get this done as soon as possible.

I'd like to agree with CHAOS. Currently, there's plenty of the map done but there are things left to do that we (Blaze and me) may or may not get done before the deadline. So I would like it if you could accept maps after the deadline and release this expansion, as a whole, on a later date.

Chances are, most of the maps will go into CSCM afterwards anyway, seeing as this pack will probably end up not hosted for a few reasons.

This is something I planned early into development.

I don't really mind releasing a second "wave" though.


EDIT: Keep in mind that, either you won't get a medal for the second wave, or the second wave will be only a few days after the initial release, depending on the date.

Ah, well I'm almost completely finished. However, I'm having an issue when I'm making the MAPINFO Lump.

Every time I SAVE mapinfo, the map gets distorted and then Slade/Slumped deletes the map file.

I'm late because lol oversleeping but

This is the last day for submissions. Get your things in!

Concerning the second wave: The second wave's deadline will be two days after the first guy sends me something. If the deadline is not November 3rd(First thing submitted on November 1st), then contributors for the second wave will not get medals. The second wave only applies to maps and for people who are already signed up by tonight's deadline. Also, if the date exceeds November 7th, you would probably be better off throwing your map at Messatsu for CSCM.

Cancelling the submission of my map. It wasn't good enough the first time, and to be honest, the changes I need to make to it are rushed and would probably end up looking bad.

I have other plans for that map, but it was fun making it. :l


Unless of course you might just accept it anyway after I fixed the linedef error.
