To be honest, while I don't have much say in it, I don't think you should. Given the...uh...interesting experience trying to get you to fix Volcanoman was, I do not have high hopes for what you have planned for Rollingman.

But the thing about Volcano man was that, to be blunt, you didn't do a very good job, if I remember correctly. And getting you to fix the problems was a hassle. :|

Thats becuz They told me to changes alot of things of him and i can pm chaos fantasy to change it if tell whats wrong with volcanoman then

The end result wasn't the problem, it was the initial result before we started giving suggestions, and it was hard to get you to understand what the issues were as you went off changing other things about it without clarifying what the suggestions given to you were. And its doing that which will make it hard for people to want to accept you making skins for expansions. I probably got a lot of flack for my stubbornness with Volt Man hopping instead of walking, but I'm not a good skinner anyway so I'm not too concerned about not being accepted into projects for skinning.

No offense, but I just need something to be clearer~ by in our hands, I'm guessing you mean we... well, got ripped all the 2D (2D, as they appear in game, let's remember some weapons will need rotating 3D custom frames, huh) weapon sprites ? A friend of Chaos has acquired the sprites from the creator of the game, but for whatever reason, he (Chaos) has only given them to a few people. (being myself, Smash Bro, and whatever skinners he has.) Also, the weapons I plan on making are mainly Beetle Jet and Lighting Flash.
I already made a beta-ish Jet Missile...but that sucks and I would rather pretend it not exist.
As for other weapon sprites, I will try and request permission from C_F to give them to you, or you could ask him yourself, if you ever find him on.

I think it's probably because the creator wouldn't see his sprites taken and released to people in the internet so easily. Like, finishing in the Spriters's ressource.
I don't bother which weapon should I take -if my help would be appreciated-, maybe the Ice Shield will be slightly harder, but I know how to use items as flags. Doom has so much possibilities and almost no limit, anyway.
...through, my major problem is about the sprites, yeah~ Not only that I never ripped anything, but I'm also bad at pixel art. It reminds me of an Ice Slasher that I wanted to port it in another Doomish game, without using the MM8BDM sprites.

I'll take Ice Circle if that's okay. Just crossing my imaginary fingers that I can get it to work how I want it to. If not I'll let someone else do it.

Hopefully doing this will encourage me to play 8BDM again, cause I haven't played it in awhile.

I support giving Stardust the weapon sprites so that she can make stuff. It'll always help to have another weaponsmith on the team; if a weapon isn't made yet, then great! If a weapon is already made, then go ahead and make it again. Seeing another take on a weapon can lead to something really unique or cool being born. I know, for example, that you went "uguu" in disdain over Lightning Flash being taken. If you feel like you had a great idea for Lightning Flash, then go ahead and do it anyway! The more the merrier.

If Misdreavus doesn't get on it, I'll forward 'em myself. Don't worry about it. :ugeek:

To elaborate.
Yes, we have been generously given all sprites in the game by King-Soutuku himself.  However, it was explicitly outlined that those sprites were for MM8BDM use only.  Now, from the sound of his messages, King is a pretty lax guy, and chances are he probably wouldn't mind his material being used for anything as long as he knew about it.  However, I'm going to follow his instructions to the letter, and to minimize potential leaking I'm only handing out the complete materials to people who absolutely need them.

As for multiple weapons...hrrrm.  I think what we'll do is assemble a small group of beta testers, bring both versions of the weapon in question to a location, test online, and then get feedback on which version of the weapon is better.  Or at least, that's how I'd handle the ordeal.
Someone else is going to have to handle that, though, seeing as I can't host.

I have finished Jet Man's sprites! Yay!

If you find anything wrong with it, please tell me about it and I'll try to fix it.

EDIT: Switched sprite-sheet with current one. The only sprites modified were the back-firing frames.
EDIT 2: Switched sprite-sheet with current one. Each and every back and front frame was modified, and now with beautiful transparency for ease-of-use.

There's only one thing I don't like, it's how the visor comes up only when he's running/flying/moving/migrating. But I've never played Rokko chan before, so I don't know much.
