So yeah. I'm really surprised by some of the concepts. Tornado, Splash, Hornet, Galaxy, and Twin Devil's good god that twin devil art in this is scary concept art is interesting. I's personally love to see sprites of Tornado, Splash, Hornet, and Galaxy's previous counterparts.


we need skins of these concept arts, seriously. They [some] are that good looking.

Twin Devil (Well, he was a little dark-looking for the youngin's), one of Old Galaxy's designs (The colored one with all the rings) and Honey-Woman look really cool, but as far as I'm concerned, the rest of them had final products that were better.  I mean, the different designs are interesting, but I really can't imagine them looking any other way.  "Plasma-Man" (Old Plug) and "Weather-Man" (Old Tornado) make me shudder.
At least now people will now how to sprite Splash's legs when they decide to give her some.

Looking at it, I do have to say.
I like Weather Man more than Tornado Man.
I like Ocean Man more than Splash Woman.
I like Honey Woman more than Hornet Man (sorry Hornet Man, but Honey Woman is just plain adorable and would have been a far better female Robot Master than Splash Woman)

I like Weather Man more than Tornado Man ASSUMING we are talking about the incarnation after the satellite.  The Satellite is ugly.
I like Honey Woman more than Hornet Man, but feel she didn't look threatening enough to make a boss.  HOWEVER...
I also liked Sting Man more than Hornet Man.  Really, Hornet Man is my least favorite MM9 master.  He's still pretty cool though.
I like Ocean Man more than Splash Woman.  That surfing design is awesome!
I like the Splash Woman in the bottom right more than current Splash Woman due to the more Mega Man-y arms.
I like current Plug better than Plasma, current Concrete more than Cement, current Magma better than old Magma, and current Galaxy better than Space

I just noticed, Oceanman bears a striking resemblance to Sonicman from the old Megaman PC game!

-I really like this wing design for Tornado Man: as well as the shoulder fans, though I'd imagine it would be pretty dificult to sprite, then.
-I'd actually like to see the current Concrete Man with a drill in his head. It would've made him much different from Guts Man.
-Ocean Man is amazing! I really like the Laser Trident being a part of his buster!
-I really like Sting Man, but that's probably due to the fact that Hornet Man is my least favourite MM9 RM.
-Surprisingly, I like all of Galaxy Man's previous incarnations more than the current design. I still think he looks cute, though!

I like Diamond Man more than Jewel Man, and I think Honey Woman's adorable, but Hornet Man is my favorite master in the game and it's hard to say no to either of them.

Weather Man's interesting though. Ocean Man looks too much like Mega Man for my tastes, as with some of Hornet's earlier designs.

I have to admit, I wouldn't mind Weather Man (satellite dude), Honey Woman, Ocean Man and the Fake Man on the left being in MM9. Cement Man would also be pretty neat if he was dark green, but Concrete Man is OK.

Though I must say I'm happy they kept Plug Man... Plasma Man looks strange.

the gold astroman makes me think of a rave DJ, love the design of oceanman with flippers, and stingman somehow instantly makes me think of blast hornet

I think most of you just like them by default because they're different from what we're used to. I think most of the latter designs are better suited but some are pretty rad. A lot of the earlier works suffer from over complication I find, like fat plugman and DISCO galaxy man.
