Ok, I'm officially at a loss as to what to do.  I was able to host a server last week with no problems and now it says port 10666 is closed.  I checked my firewall, unblocked 10666 and still nothing works.  I can't access my router settings for some reason, but I can't imagine why my router settings would have changed from one day to another anyways, since my parents aren't exactly the best when it comes to computers.  Is there any solution anybody here can come up with?

You just need to get to those router settings to open that port.

Any ideas on where I could get the password?  The default for my router (admin/no password) isn't working, neither is any combination of the words admin, password, nothing, and my ISP is working.

Looks like you may need to do a full reset that will erase all your settings. I would like to know what kind of router you have (make/model), isp, and type of connection (cable/dsl). Also did your ISP give/sell/lease this router to you or did you pick it up at retail?

If you don't feel comfortable configuring and re setting up a router from scratch, don't do it. play on my server.

Ok, so not only did my port 10666 close itself overnight before, it has now decided to open up itself overnight, too.  I'll periodically be hosting a server to test my Blade Man stage.

That's great!  If you don't mind, I'm going to attempt to join you.

EDIT: Doh, I didn't read the first post.  I'm an idiot.

Actually, the server will pretty much be down for the next few months.  I've moved to college where port 10666 is not open.  I have no control over the internet either.
