Diablo II.
My father, my sister and me spent whole weekends with that game. I was so overwhelmed by the sheer length and how many different things you could find and how good it looked. Mostly my father was playing and we were watching, but i played it sometimes, too. And it still remains one of my favorite games ever.

My fondest memories are of a game I never actually played all the way through until recently. That would be Zelda Majora's Mask. I'm a huge Zelda fan, but for the longest time, I never played MM because I didn't like the three-day thing.

Then I actually played the game, and I realized how brilliant the system was, and how much detail was put into that game. Seriously, so many little tidbits about every NPC here and there, and if you do all the sidequests... its just beautiful.

I have a whopping five:

Super Mario Sunshine
This is what started it all for me.  I still play it sometimes today.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
This is the first "hardcore" game that I played.  The plot, the action, the Quadraxis.  It was (and is) all so lovely.

F-zero GX:

Dragon Quest IX:
My first "true" RPG.  Good stuff.

Star Fox 64:
Woop woop

If you still play this, give my car a try:

Speedy Dragon + Dark Chaser + Triple-Z = Dark Dragon-Z

That vehicle allowed me to dominate races, through it takes some getting used to. Imagine it akin to strapping a rocket on your back and not being able to maneuver that well.

I'd have to say Luigi's Mansion. My brother and I would play it for hours on end looking for all the secrets. Not to mention it was my second GameCube title.

Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom
This was my third GameCube title. I still love it, though I can't remember what the hell I did with my copy.

AND Mario Kart 64.

AND Super Mario 64.
Super Mario World, Mario Kart 64, and Super Mario 64 weren't that tough. Sorry, they just aren't.

That said, the lost levels are credible. Nice work.

I know.
I was just naming OTHER games that I have fond memories about.

Sadly, a couple months ago, I learnt that my SNES SMAS cart may be suffering from bitrot.   (An area in SMB2 had corrupted tiles. Still playable though)

The game that i hold dear to my heart is Summon Knight for the GBA. That game is so fun and has an amazing story and game-play. It is the best rpg i have ever played, and i have beaten it about 7-9 times. I love all the characters and can actually care and feel for them. I always get choked up when Urseka dies T^T

Damn, there are quite a few.

Notably, two games that used the Super FX chip back in the SNES: Stunt Race FX and Vortex. The first has pretty cool music and fun gameplay, and the latter has seven stages (ten if you count the three training stages). But they're all HUGE ass maps. And if you get destroyed, you need to restart the whole map again from the beginning. It did however, have an amazing and elaborate soundtrack that shouldn't be overlooked. I still listen to it now and then after 16 years, and still play both games when I have the chance. They're that memorable.

Cybernator (SNES) also gets a worthy mention for being a game whose name I didn't remember, but whose first stage I had memories about. On November 2012, I finally found it again and beat it. It was great to know what it was all about too, since I didn't know any english at age seven.

Probably I would say Chrono Trigger, the game that got me started on RPGs like Final Fantasy and, by extension, Kingdom Hearts.  I really love a lot of games, but CT will always have a special place in my game library~

Oh man, I have ship tons of fond memories from playing games (especially from the MegaDrive/Snes and N64 eras), but the ones I remember most of all are the ones from all four of the games I got with my first Gamecube.
That is, Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and, of course, Super Sexy Smash Brothers Melee.

It was a beautiful time. I got the cube and those games as a moving house present, and all was well.
A few days later, we got burgled to buggery which was a bit of a shame, but still, I had my cube, so I didn't give too many shits!

Hell, after it happened, I got a bunch more games, including the fun Super Monkey Ball, to replace any older games that were no longer in the market. So it could've been worse.
In fact, I got a shiny white Gameboy Advance and a bunch of games for it out of the deal too~
God it's sad that a contributor to one of the happiest times of my life was from getting burgled.
