nah it's fine, it relates to the topic sort of.

I've gotten together a bunch of base stuff, but I need to get to work and actually finish it.

While we're on the subject, funny thing is, the whole energy punch and shooting energy fist thing was recycled from a quickly scrapped class submission for this mod. I quickly realized my CSCC class wasn't on the list for next-version classes (which would mean mostly confirmed, ready to be taken on for coding and stuff, so yeah.) and took it off.

It was ANOTHER ROBOT which I called Fighter Unit. It was also mostly generic and dumb, and it was just Guardian Unit with his other hand up in a fighting stance.

I've avoided asking about progress on mine or Oka's simply because constantly bugging people about it and asking about it tends to make then not want to work on them.

Don't worry about being 100% original. You should worry about making something that's fun.

So do you find
Quote from: "Nacho"
Javelins for primary weapon that can be cycled with altfire (love the idea; thanks Gummy); for second weapon, Nacho Buster (Yamato Spear style) primary and Hurricane Kick altfire. So instead of mixing a bunch of stuff, it's just javelin gets its own weapon and then there's a buster and melee for second weapon.
to be fun? Would anyone consider taking up my class if this is, in fact, determined to be fun by him/her?

Do you plan to throw out a suggestion or just arbitrarily criticize? As for "LONG RANGE AND MELEE", I can't tell if you're joking or not. That's like saying "JUMP AND SHOOT WHAT'S UP WITH THAT". You get blamed for ripping off something in YD's classes if you pick only one. My class isn't Jack Corvus fast either, just slightly faster than usual as logically modeled after Ryu.

how is a rapidfire and a melee not the blandest thing possible

It's not bland at all. I call it,"The Balanced PlayerClass!"

So would anyone like to name a general style of play that isn't the blandest thing possible?

Which might be criticized for having around normal-ish missile speed, average-ish movement, and normal-ish jump. The point I'm trying to make is that NOTHING can be truly original anymore. Ultimately, I was just wondering if someone would either consider taking up my class despite it's inevitable "unoriginality" or provide a more valid reason as to why my class is so terrible. I'm honestly not trying to defend my class needlessly, but considering how just about everything has been done to some extent, I frankly don't see anybody giving another reason as to why my edited class isn't viable/shouldn't be made.

He does have a point guys, remember the original build has most every class with a long range attack and a melee alt. Hell even the one of mine excepted has that, though the function of the alt isn't damage. And mine even shares a gimmick with a class already in CSCC, Gizmo, which both gain unique weapon pick ups from copy weapons.

Oh, that gimmick? I wouldn't say you're unoriginal for using it. It seems completely normal.

.. By the way, since Zard is gone (at least temporarily), shouldn't somebody else take on the project
