Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been kinda bleh and moving slowly, but things are getting done.

This mod is still being developed, right? Well, how 'bout giving me a class slot in there?

Stats:
can use normal items, but not pick-up weapons
Armor: 0.7 (Edited, was last 3.6)
Move Speed:
Forward/backwards: 0.9
Strafe speed: 0.82
Jump height: 13.5
Elemental weakness/strengths:  Top Spin 0.5 Slash Claw 2.1 Proto Buster 0.5 Flame Sword 1.5 Atomic Fire 0.5 Rain Flush 0.5 Mega Buster 1.3 PureLightWep 3.6 (because demons are REALLY weak to light)
Abilities: Receives a spread rune after going under 30 HP
Skins: Onion Knight (or Bass if you don't feel like using user created skins)

Weapon 1 : DemonBuster: Rapidly fires long range shots that are 1.5 the power of a Bass shot and uses fire storm sprites (Damage Type: Demon)
Weapon 1 altfire: Swings a sword as a melee attack dealing 50 damage with

I'm gonna say it probably won't be accepted. Just my foresight, cause its got a simple rapid fire long range move and a generic melee sword attack.
You also got some REALLY low armor there, also that spread rune would be A) Hard to get to cause of low armor. B) Probably permanent, so ab-usable (unless done like DM1 in classes).

Well, any flaws in the idea that would make it too OP or wouldn't work well with the other parts can just be edited or removed. If it does get accepted, maybe I should change the idea a little so the rapid fire is something like.............IDK, some fire based attack? Drill isn't ab-usable in all maps, only ones with two way teleporters. The only reason I mentioned it is cause many people have complained about the number of classes in this with a long range weapon and a melee weapon. If you like melee so much why not focus on just it, like Smash does.
Why not go for something like Main Weapon is a third sword combo that moves you forward with each attack (kind of thinking like the basic swords in Spiral Knights) while the alt is while also a melee attack, one that works differently, like maybe a spin attack that has even less range but hits enemies all around you for the cost of having no movement while the attack is going and a brief moment afterwards.

The thing about Drillman doing that is that you can see him teleporting rapidly. It's up to you to not fall for that, as you generally have the option of leaving the teleporter alone and finding another path. (Usually.)

Anyway, the way your class stands now, I would personally deny it. It looks to be just another sword and buster class, which is something that plagued this mod. I could throw out some ideas for you though.

I'm taking it your class is supposed to be some sort of demon, right? (Or something of that nature) Let's see. We could have him focus around fire and dark abilities, or both. Fire isn't even a necessity; Ice works well, too. Either way, he can keep the sword, but I'd get rid of the buster. Here are some various attacks that come off the top of my head.

He could maybe have an instantaneous fireball attack, kinda like CutmanMike in CSCC. Or, to not be a complete rip-off, instead of having it explode on the person it would summon a fireball from under them, shooting up to the sky. Having a fireball shoot up from the ground where you aim doesn't sound like something that's been done before. If it has, then not very often to my knowledge. At the same time, you could do an ice variant, where an icicle rises up (but doesn't lift off the ground) and freezes the target temporarily. As cool as it sounds, it sounds a bit abuse-able.

For dark powers, you could probably poison or even suck the life out of someone. Exactly how it works, I don't know. As long as it isn't in the form of Flame sword or star crash, it should work out. We don't need any more rapid hitting life draining attacks. Other dark powers I can think of are blindness and stat-cuts. (Attack/Defense/Speed lowering things)


How to implement them into the class is up for discussion.
