Ok, given that I don't even know my own partner's friend code yet, not to mention the fact that it still says that nobody has registered me, I think we should hold off on placing deadlines until after everyone has confirmed registration of everybody else's friend codes.

good idea, plus no one has done any matches yet, its hard to find a good date for everyone to do it

That is a big problem, yes. A 1vs1 tourney would probably fare much better.

For a 1vs1 tournament, you only need to get two people to be online and prepared at the same time to proceed. For a 2vs2 tournament, you need four people, which is much, much more difficult, especially when you add timezones to the equation.

im not changing this to 1v1, but you're right, though the other problem is that some people cant be contacted, even if the 3 other people are ready
