Seeing as i'm no good at programming, i yearn for when games bring out these level editors. I think I have creativity in me, just i couldn't make a game from scratch (i am dependent on most of the programming pre-made). An 8 bit Mega Man editor would be sweet as too! I like editors where you can add your own music and what not (even work with triggers and specific properties etc) but i am reliant on an already programmed editor to work on, seeing as my programming skills are very minor.

As for this game, it's the one game so far that hasn't made me go "omg omg omg!" but yet these new trailers intrigued me. I agree on the no milking thing, I don't want Capcom/Inti Creates to become the next Activision or Infinity Ward etc etc. Otherwise we'll be seeing Guitar Hero: Mega Man or Call of Duty: Mega Warfare or something? Every 6 months, lol.

I've heard about the potential in LBP (even saw videos of them re-creating stages from Contra). Hmm, perhaps I shall look into this game later on (by then it'll be in the bargain bin? lol). Cheaper game!

Ever played Spore? Galactic Adventures allows you to make fun little quests as well, which might get your creative juices flowing.

Though I gotta say, an 8-bit Megaman game with a level editor would be epic.

This should have been MMPU2.
anyway, i still want it cuz it still looks fun, but its nowhere as good as MMPU2 would have been, and this is MEGAMAN universe, not CAPCOM universe.

This is technically Mega Man 2, all the bosses and stages are being remade and you can use their parts to make a Mega Quick Man!

not the point, all the playable robot masters in MMPU had great and creative personality's. will these guys have great arguments when you reach a boss?

Perhaps Ruby Spears style bad puns?

Bubble Man: Time to burst your bubble!
Air Man: I'll knock the air out of you!
Quick Man: Better be quick if you wanna catch me!
Heat Man: Time to turn up the heat!
Wood Man: You woodn't last a minute against me!
Metal Man: Turn up the metal to 11!
Flash Man: You'll be gone in a flash!
Crash Man: I'm gonna crash this party!

Dunno if the robot masters should say it or Mega Man says some wise-crack? lol.

I just can't wait to make the most evil (but beatable) stages anyone has ever seen!!

The stage editor alone has already confirmed my purchase, but with the ability to use parts from characters and robotmasters to make custom megamen is just the icing on the cake!

Not to mention MM2 is my favorite in the series (I know it is a bit over hyped, but there is a reason) and to have a remake with all this just makes it that much more special.

Also Inafune commented awhile ago stating that he would like to re-do the entire series, I think he is going to do it all in one game-Megaman Universe.

Just imagine every new add-on to the game will be the stages, characters, and powers for the next installment. I think I may be more excited for this game then ANY other game in my entire history. I grew up starting with the very first MM game and now my dreams of creating my own are slowly coming true.

If I can have a BrightMan head on my TopMan body then I'm sold.

Just imagine using "yellow Devil" parts for a Megaman, that would be sweet!
(sorry saw your name and it came to mind  )

But...

Using the Flash Stopper from BrightMan's bulb then top spinning them to death...

Who needs me? Although a traveling-particle effect would be nice there wouldn't really be any benefits!
