INSANE MLG VIDEO GAMES

This is NOT a joke thread. Post all games like IWBTG and stuff like that.
FegaMan vs. The World, I Wanna Be The Guy Gaiden and I Wanna Be The Boshy deserves some mentions.

or play the test by removing &d=1
For some reason I have a feeling this should go in the WWW board. I don't know, so I'll just leave it here for now. Anyways, post your gameplays, or games you've found that are RAGE HARD like games. Also, IWBTB is multiplayer, so get some friends, hippies!
NOTE: These games are insanely hard, don't do this if you get mad really easily, throw tables or are just plain bad at these type of games.
NOTE2: Games like IWBTB are if you get hit ONCE, you're dead. Don't play on rape/impossible modes, as there are NO save points, or barely any at ALL.

None of these are actually MLG games though. MLG, or Major League Gaming, is a competitive gaming scene. Games in it include Starcraft 2, League of Legends, and Black Ops 2.
If you mean incredibly hard games, none of these(except maybe the Megaman clone, but I'm not familiar with it so) are that either. These games are just a
lot
of memorization.

[rantaboutshooters]
If Gradius really counts, every scrolling shooter ever.
But honestly. I can get to the second to last stage in II(PCE) and III(SNES) rather easily, but that stage is just a nightmare (It's a stupid high speed memorization stage that I just cant stand). Up to there it is not that much harder than Thunder Force III (which I can beat very easily) (all on normal difficulty, btw). Gradius Gaiden is not that hard either (I am sure that I will be able to beat it once I spend more time with it). Gradius IV, V and III (Arcade) however, yes these are evil incarnate.
If you want easy (that is, you can easily get through the first few stages, but there is no guarantee that you will make it through the last 2/3) yet good shooters, try Thunder Force III & V (I'd even say TFIV, but general opinion on other sites says otherwise and I admit I played it a lot so I know most of it by heart), Axelay, Super E.D.F, Star Parodier, Battle Mania Daiginjou, Tyrian or even Touhou on normal mode (still one of the easier bullet hell shooter series).
But there are so many harder games than Gradius. Like many bullet hell shooters (for example Shikigami no Shiro II *shudders*), Hellfire, G-Darius, R-Type III or Rayxanber II.
[/rantaboutshooters]
Ys Origin is hard but fun on the highest difficulty (Nightmare). Ys The Oath in Felghana on Inferno mode however is insane and I don't see myself ever beating it in my entire life (normal mode is already as hard as hard mode in Ys Origin and a nice challenge but nothing too crazy).
Spacechem gets very hard as the game goes on. I doubt anybody has ever beaten it completely.
Also, please do not confuse high difficulty with badly made. And badly made is the correct word for how to call IWBTG or similar games.

You can. Chillax maps are meant to be played by large groups of people.

Nemesis II (otherwise known as Gradius: Interstellar Assault) for the Game Boy is devilish in difficulty, but other than that, I don't know any other hard games.
VVVVV is kind of tough though.

Desert Strike Return to the Gulf for the snes is hard for a number of reasons:
limited health
you are timed
clunky controls
overpowered enemies
multiple objectives
If anything just run it on an emulator to see what I mean.

The hardest NES game?

Zanac for the NES, anyone?
Btw, videos can not do that amazing game justice.
Basically the main idea is that the game adjusts itself to your playstyle. It is just something that I have never seen any other game do. Depending on what weapons you use and how much you die and many other factors the game dynamically changes it's strategy, like enemy layout, enemy types, the powerups you can get and so on.
And it can get quite bullet-hell-ish.
It is definitely the most interesting shooter on the NES and you should play it just to have experienced it.
And seriously, no two attempts at beating it are the same. The game reacts even to the tiniest detail. Your position, how much you move, if you tap or hold the fire button and so on and so on.
And you can really piss that game of. Try collecting multiple weapon "2" upgrades. The game *will* punish you for that.
Also, the company that made Zanac (COMPILE) later made Guardian Legend and Puyo Puyo.
