A good rule of thumb is that your character halves in size when ducking, or else ducking won't let you dodge much. A good example of this is Big Luigi, 30 pixels tall, becomes 15 pixels tall when he ducks.

Rosalina, normally 40 pixels tall, only loses 8 pixels to become 32 while ducking.

Your sprites are very nice, but from a gameplay perspective, I'm not too sure how it would work out.

edit: As a reminder, I think Rosalina's standing size is fine.

Well, if there's a crawl move in 3D World, I see no reason as to why I can't make her crawl.

Although I'd probably make sprites for it anyway, now that you suggest it.


And, I wasn't really counting the pixels while I was making the sprites. I just made them proportional to Mario, then went ahead.

Actually the crawl thing was a joke, there's no crawling move as far as I'm aware. You just said she would have to tuck and roll to get through narrow gaps, so it made me think of the "why cant metroid crawl" thing, and... yeah.

That Mario power up thing Kapus made for her character made me start thinking.

And after a while, this came out.

Basically, I used SM3DW logic for some of them, where different characters have different costumes.
Although be glad that I didn't go that route with the Carrot...
Although unlike Kapus's ones, I stayed a bit closer to the original power ups designs, for the most part.
I also decided to include EVERY power up. (Except P-Balloon, Mega Mushroom, Mini Mushroom, Statue, and Lucky Cat)

I assume that the reasoning behind the Frog Suit, Bee Mushroom, and Flying Star is obvious, right?

Yes, the hat for the Stone power up is a rock from LTTP.

And yes, Rock, Cloud, Penguin, and Flying Squirrel were the last ones I made. I was running out of ideas then.

Okay, that is pretty awesome. Although isn't "Gold" Luigi actually silver? And Rosalina!GenoRoll's dress looks kinda like Ruby Rose's (not that it matters).

Yeah, Gold Luigi is actually silver, probably to easily differentiate the brothers if you're playing co-op. Gold Molly probably has a green colouration to make her version of the power special as well, similar to how everyone's Cat Suit forms in 3D World are colored differently.


and yes I'm still going to call her Molly until Geno gives her an actual name

Started a section of Minecraft skins.

Not even close to complete though, I still haven't posted any of my SMW hack or Mega Man themed ones.

However, I made up for it by having every single colour of Bomberman in existence.


EDIT: They're all up. Except a few ones I excluded, but I doubt anyone would download any Pu-Li-Ru-La based skins.
EDIT2: Dropbox broke while I was putting up Bass's colour schemes, so no alts yet. Although it shouldn't be much of an issue, they're all pretty much the same anyway.

EDIT3: Dropbox has been fixed, but I can't add anything to the Public folder (and I can't open it at all on the website), so I have to upload to the normal Dropbox, then move the files to the public folder.
