The UNOFFICAL Weird Dreams Thread.

Well, as usual, I had several dreams, but the one I remember right now is where I was playing the new version of MM8BDM, as Dynamo Man and on Dynamo Man's stage. What was weird was that there were sections of the stage where it suddenly shifted from FPS to Gameboy-style 2D platformer for some reason.

I had a dream were a Robot Dinosaur goes to a ice hockey place and steps on a family of people splattering there guts and blood everywhere.
My mind hates me sometimes.

Well that was a weird dream.

The first part was of something like Castle Wolfenstein 3D? But with people to talk to and stuff. Next thing I know, I'm in some sort of playground that that looks like a MM8BDM level, with parts that have purple swirls coming out of the ground that will damage the space-time continuum if too many people are there. I get into a fight with some kid I remember from Jr. High, and next thing I know, I'm on another MM8BDM map, controlling both myself and some sort of bird that can use Lightnig Bolt and Elec Man's alt from Justified Classes as I fight against some gal I also remember from Jr. High. I didn't like either of these people, by the by. The former was a jerk, the latter more so. Anyways, she used Copy Vision, and next thing I know, I'm in some sort of Tron canyon, and I fly/fall into a pit that has Super Adaptor and I think either Tengu Blade or Mirror Buster, I'm not sure which. I collect the former, and now I'm falling through caves, with small spikes in the walls though those spikes don't hurt me. I finally fall into a chamber that has two heads in it, one of them looking like the traditional "God" face. The other one turns into a spider that attacks me, and I use Lightnig Bolt against it several times before it turns into something else (not sure what) that has a black and yellow text balloon that says "Happy Mother's Day!"

Then I wake up.

So, that was about on par with my usual dreams.

I had a dream that I was having a deathmatch in a grocery store and SmashTheEchidna fragged me and I fell into a tower of canned food and I knocked them over. The owner comes over to me and yells at me for playing around in his store and he makes me re stack the cans. (I think I have been playing too much MM8BDM .-. )

Apologies for the bump.

Last night, I had a dream where I was playing a game that somewhat resembled Viscera Cleanup Detail. I went onto some sort of big ship floating high in the sky, and went through the place cleaning up the mess. The path seemed oddly linear, and eventually I reached a large chamber with one wall having several columns of pipes with several large holes in each of them. I then found several Pokémon dolls, or toys, or whatever (they were Pokémon because I remember seeing Jigglypuff among them) and I could fit them into a larger hole in the wall, in which each Pokémon would get sucked in and fill one of the holes in each of the pipes.

Here's where everything went downhill. After all the holes in the pipes were filled in, the Pokémon started exploding and sending electrical shocks all throughout the pipes, triggering the ship's self-destruct mechanism. I high tailed it back through the ship, grabbing my two bags along the way; one was big and one was smaller, and back to the deck (or wing, it was on the side of the ship) where my craft was. I left my bigger bag in the entrance and headed to the craft with the smaller bag first, since they had the keys to it, and opened the trunk to put the bag in. Just as I was heading back to collect my larger bag, I heard my brother's voice count down from five, after which a huge explosion erupted from a part of the ship. I decided to just abandon my bag for my safety and head to the craft, and started it up.

It turns out I didn't know how to fly the thing.

I was able to make the craft jump around a bit, but then I jumped off the edge of the wing. I screamed as I plummeted very fast with the craft to the ground way below, and then as we violently impact the ground, everything turns solid white as my whole body suddenly becomes numb, and my hearing becomes overloaded with what sounded like the Mega Man death sound effect. That was the point where I woke up, my body still feeling numb for a few minutes while I was lying there on my bed.

Happened like half an hour ago:
I ... I dreamt of spending a whole day with a specific person from this community.
Someone I don't even have any idea of how they look like.
And it was probably one of the greatest dreams I ever had, even if some things were strange.
I just ... really feel a little uncomfortable about the fact that it's someone from here appearing in ... a dream of mine, in person.

I've had quite a few of these recently.

There was a bus that took me and a couple friends around the city the whole day. We then find ourselves nowhere; in front of a large orange gate at night. The driver was clueless and we walked for miles back.

There was a bunch of fish I was carrying in a plastic bag that died in the bus because they popped the plastic bag trying to escape. We explored a female scientist and her friend's laboratory and partied on the roof with some friends and acquaintances. I then find out she owned the fish.

Then I woke up then promptly got back to my slumber.

This would segue me into another dream before waking up for the day.

I witnessed a nude girl being beaten up in a hotel restroom by two unidentified criminals. She seemed to be unconscious as they put her body in a box. I opened the box and she wasn't dead, but alive. Rather glad to see me, as if she knew me personally. I was then taken away by the two criminals down an elevator shaft.

The perspective changes and I find myself as a 2D retro platformer character trying to jump to a platform in the shaft.

Me and a few family members, including some friends were riding a bus, and just going everywhere. To the top of a tall building, even. Exploring the city.

We stopped for gas, I escaped the bus to go somewhere else, next thing I remember, I'm with my friends walking, to nowhere. The gravity then shifts and I fall sideward into a small inn.

I can recall them holding onto a truck and trying to catch me.

In that small inn, everything was white; no TV, no nothing. Nothing but a closet, a bathroom, a table and a lamp. I get out of the hotel to find that my folks are waiting to pick me up outside in their car.

I get dragged into the mall by my mother, we were going to do errands.

I remember the taxi-ride going there vividly, we were having a discussion and I was staring out the window, the buildings were all colorful and they kept overlapping each other and it was this weird, surreal landscape; yet it felt normal.

We go do our chores and finish them.

Me and my mother then find ourselves at a rather long line for the ATM in a steel-gray building holding the groceries while my mother gets something from her purse. I look at the rather long line to the ATM and I could hear a girl behind me ask "am I beautiful?" or somethin' of that nature.

I turn around and say "yeah, you're beautiful".

We hit it off in a rather blunt way and leave my mother waiting on that long ATM line. Boy did she look pissed. The girl and I then exit the mall.

We find ourselves in Dr. Light's lab apparently. The room was full of robot masters drinking and talking; I was at a table, now apparently wearing Mega Man's clothes and the girl was wearing Roll's, we escape from Dr. Light's clutches, as apparently in this dream, he's a tyrant of some sort.

We go to some random church-place-thing for our field trip, and I find myself witnessing a teacher start scolding some guy's grandma.

The grandma goes away, defeated.

We then continue to the rest of the tour--

I then wake up, grab my laptop and start using it on the bed, to search for the teacher in question. The computer then starts to melt and break. I then start worrying and losing it. But then the panic subsides and I just look at my now destroyed laptop and I stop caring.

Then I woke up for real.

Worst part about this dream is that it left me dazed and confused thinking I was still in a dream for a while.

The odd thing that sticks out was that the landscapes in my dreams all feel so real, and that my other dreams seem to have allusions to previous dreams, further expanding the imaginary geography of this fictional city.

Also, they involve transportation like buses and trains; and me walking around, exploring the city, trying to find a way home, sometimes.

At one point, when I was around 10-12; I kept having dreams about my old laptop being destroyed or corrupted in different ways and I always woke up due to the panic. Eventually that old second-hand thing did die out. It was always broken and corrupted during its lifetime with me anyway.

Well last night I had a dream where a giant Pacman (Pizza shape design) was eating everyone causing a apocalypse. The other people were video game characters and I was with my cats in this "apocalypse." I could play a brawl-style minigame where if I win, a character gets to use a Power Pellet and make the Pacman lose a life, which saves a set of people.

Okay. Here goes nothing.

Last night, i had a dream where Dynamo Man was trying to sell random people Kool-Aid and Shamwows on my home street. I was weirded out by that in the dream, so in the dream, i called the police, and Dynamo Man threw a Shamwow at one of the policemen and ran.

Then i woke up.

Alrighty, this dream of mine is more freaky than weird, but here we go, but first, some context: For the past week, I've been having dreams about climbing from my basement into this medieval tower, then the dreams ended, but not last night's... When I was climbing up as usual, this jet-black beetle pretty much super-grips my thumb, and start inserting numbing poison through its extremely staple shaped pincers, I was panicking, and after the third insert, I was able to move it to the other thumb, where it did the same, after the 6th insert, it went to this voxel H-E-double hockey sticks, then this echoing voice just like mine kept saying "This isn't real!" "Wake up!" and as I started to awake, but I was trying to go back to sleep, it went to this voxel heaven scene, the voice returned saying "You know heaven isn't real!' "Wake up!" (I'm an atheist, if  you're wondering about it) and then I awoke to find I'd only been asleep for an hour.

I just ... really feel a little uncomfortable about the fact that it's someone from here appearing in ... a dream of mine, in person.

I had a dream like that once, as well. Though, the person's face was in the dark, so I couldn't see it properly. The person is currently one of my closest friends in this community. The mistake I made was telling the person about that dream, which is weird considering the person betrays me in the dream, so, yea...

I somehow managed to get a computer virus and there were no anti-virus programs for Linux in existance.
I do remember in that dream that I had mentioned this event..
